can some 1 plz help me cos i want to add the naboo queen and guard 2 naboo, replacing the republic. my bad in title it sould say gar.lvl

Modding for Battlefront II is easyest through the BF2_modtools. Those are prety well documented and there are loads of threads about side editing.

Please do some studying about these tools before you start asking things that are allready explained, wether it is the exact same question or a variation.

Can you run the game on your laptop? What is your desktop color settings? What operating system are you running?

Edit: Sorry, stupid me. Thought you where asking for help getting the modtools working...

You don't need good graphics to run the mod tools - so long as you don't need to test the map. You just need Windows.

The simple guide to hex editing:
1) Backup the file you plan to change
2) Open the file you want to hex edit
3) Search for the name of the item you want replaced
4) Replace it with the name of the item you want
5) Save your changes
6) Test your changes

Slightly off topic: Does SWBF2 run on a mac?
