The only other program I had open was Internet Explorer and I was not using anything in the data_TSR folder. My files aren't on a network either. Could a hacker be viewing it from another computer?

Did you try restarting your comp? That always fixes it for me.

Did you by any chance just transfer/recieve that to/from someone through xfire? That happens sometimes, the computer thinks it's still being transfered. Shutting off xfire should fix it.

The whole reason for this forum is so that people with problems like yours can read some fixes/causes for it.
That's why I posted the xfire thing, so, No delete for you

I recommend unlocker
You should download and install this program:
http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/
It works like a charm unlocking those files, and will also display what program is locking it.

That is the one I stickied, wasn't it? Good program if it is, I use it frequently. It is an annoyance in Windows. It acesses the prog when it displays the info about it, but sometimes forgets to release it. I have an old windows folder on my secondary drive that windows will not remove dispite me renaming it. Been to lazy to do it in dos.AceMastermind wrote:You should download and install this program:

Edit: It is. I highly recommend it.

In most cases, Windows (explorer.exe) is the program that is using the file/folder. When you delete something, don't have it open or selected in Explorer. Though, by your screenshot, it doesn't look like Explorer is causing it. Try renaming and/or setting the file to archived then read-only. Next try changing its security permission to only allow you access to it.
