Editing Map Eras

So basically what I want to know is whether or not it is possible to edit maps to be compatible with certain eras (like say I want a Dark Times map to be playable using Ultimate Clone Wars or BFX). Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

BFX has released the source, so you can look up the troopers name and set them up for your mod. You can decide whether you want the BFx era available all the time or only if BFx is installed.
UCW i don't know if there was a mod integration.
