Hello. I am here to announce my new map I am working on, Melvakanian Underwold. It is a Hoth/Bespin map, with basically every building re-skinned. I bleieve that it is quite stunning, as this map is a snow map, so the ground is completely white, while the buildings I (yes I did) skinned, are completely black and red. The contrast is quite a cool effect.

Setting: Melvakanian: Mine 078... A deserted FIberium Harvesting facility.

Special Features: Totally Re-skinned Hoth and Bespin assets, as well as some new ground textures, crystals, monsters, and vehicles. And the fact that Utapau assets have been used and re-skinned to match the bespin/hoth ones.

Progress = alot, but at the same time.. not alot.

Map Layout: Empire / Republic Start on top of a LARGE hill, at the abandoned landing station. THey have access to the underground mining facilities, and a direct walk to the crater. THe mine takes the player down under the ground, in a totally enclosed passageway, that ends up dumping out about halfway around the crater.
CIS / Rebels start down inside the crater, with access to all the cp's and defensive postitions offered by the mine. They have a limited access to the mine, which can be used for flanking, as well as many aircraft for fast transportation. They may also use the catwalks to get to the top of the crater.

Vehicles:
Republic: LAAT, old Jedi Starfighter, Mine rider, speeder bike
CIS: MAF, Droid Starfighter, Mine Rider, Stap
Empire: Imperial Landing Craft, Tie Fighter, Mine Rider, Speeder Bike
Rebellion: Old LAAT, X Wing, Mine Rider, Speeder Bike

(The Mine Rider will be a modified maul speeder [you know, the little half moon one] that is small enough to fit through the tiny corridors of the mines)

Units: The Same, except for new skins, and that the stock trooper will be replaced with a recon unit.
Recon Unit: A fast but weak unit for every faction that can quickly traverse the battlefield and capture command posts, however they are not a good choice for head on combat.
Weapons: Blaster Pistol, Recon droid, health and ammo

Indigenous Forces: I have never worked with these so I will need help, im thinking of incorporating a wampa/thing

Story: Unfortunatel, I had just written a huge and elaborate story, when after I hit submit, it just logged me out... So now I have no reason 2 write it again so I will in a later post.

I cant post screenshots cuz you cant immediately upload them from your computer and I have no photobucket or anything so ill have to do that later. Anyways, I look forward to showing you guys

Wow Nova Blast, sounds cool! What kind of monsters did you have in thought? Maybe i can help you... And as last questions; what heroes are in there? Or did i just overread that ^^

I dunno if this is a bit off-topic but: EGG GUTS is right; show some respect. If you can always count on support in Star Wars Battlefront Modding, or just if you want cool mods etc., GameToast is the best!

I think you guys are over reacting to a common slang. If Nova's intention was to be malicious toward game toast, I know for a fact the he would use much stronger language. Props to game toast, I think we can all agree to that. ,Dont get all worked up over a common slang its just common slang ...like nigga isnt pejorative, common slang). Big deal, settle down. everything is matter of prespective, but one thing is for sure Nova wasnt trying to do anyone wrong. So back off.

You guys show some respect and thank Nova for wanting to take part and share his stuff.

PS- Nova, over the years I have lost so many posts and e-mail for that same reason. It has become instinctual to copy it before I send --- RLcT 4ever!!!

Actually it wasn't my intention to over react, i just found it rather strange that he calls gametoast gay on gametoast... But nvm! Good luck with you map nova (if you're planning to improve it i dont know)
