Wow, those naboo buildings go really well with the bumpy terrain and the water.
Oh, and you can find the MTT in the SWBF1 modtools, when downloading them I'd recommend NOT extracting the whole thing since it takes up a LOT of memory. (One time I extracted only the Rhen Var assets and it took up 2 entire gigs) When you get the MTT, open the ord.odfs and replace "orangelaserd" with "com_sfx_laser_orange"

This looks like real rural naboo. I just wonder how you'll have the large areas covered with transport. So you either have lots of speederbikes/gungan mounts or you'll restrict the battle to a specific area for every mode, with XL the only mode allowing you to walk wherever you want. This would greatly increase playabilitly, because people won't be frustrated after walking 2 minutes to reach a combat situation, only to be taken out instantly.

Now.. @Pulch.. what do you exactly mean? The only mode im putting in is... conquest... there are going to be a lot fo STAPs that go really fast...
seriously... the STAP will take you across the whole map in 3-5 seconds.. sooo yeah.. i might put Kaadu in... I'm still thinking about the MTTs cause they are rather large

To remove that annoying floating weapon, go to the weapon ODF for that particular gun and add this line anywhere under the [properties] section.

I always replace it with the Hud of another weapon. For example:
Hudtag = "all_weap_inf_rifle" -- Same weapon as the ALL Rifle, but less detailed
Soul -- Merry Christmas, and a Happy Newyear!!

Reading your problem about floating rifle, I was wondering how to get rid of it too cause I also
need to use the Naboo Guards for may map. Below is the gar_weap_rifle.odf that I modified and it made
it go away. Also I changed the sound for the rifle and now it makes noise when you shoot. I know you have tried but it does work. Good luck and good looking map too by the way.

Elmo dont put MTTs in. They have a 0 hover height which means they will sink in the water and then you have droids spawning in the water who will die shortly thereafter :twisted:
And I know there is a way to slow down STAPs. Just mess with the odf and lower the minimum speed.

mtts float fine in the water i've got them in a few of my maps. and as for droids spawning you could just chance "commandhover" to "hover" in the odf.
Map looks good, especially for a first. And I like the theme, its neat how you can be in a city and walk a few steps and be in a watery place thing.

Just make sure to put the MTTs in shallow water and dont have any planning that goes over deep water, or else the bots will spawn and drown... oh wait, they're driods, it doesn't matter if they're underwater.
(That would be cool to have them come out of the water to attack)

ok.. well, i don't think i'll place the MTTs in the map. I like the STAP's speed as it is... Trust me... you'll love cruising across the water on high speed

As fo skinning the vulture droids... i dhave no idea how to do it... can some one do it for me?
Edit: While im at it... do you guys know how to make the droids immune to water? (I like your idea food eater)

It's impossible I was working on it and asked Majin afterwards. It can't be done sadly.

awww... that's too bad... now, im struggling with another problem.. I can't get the background mountains from Naboo plains into my map... i don't know what to add into my SKY file and i do have all the Naboo plain SKY files... How do i out a background? i need to do this, because when you jump into a starfighter... the Sky looks horrible: I'll show you a pic:

notice the black and the dark blue which is not part of the sky... to fix this i have to put a background. You have to agree...

Just copy everything from the Naboo Plains Sky file into your sky and all the assets from naboo plains.

I have a question.. should i make the water shallow in most places? Or deeper in most places?
