Oh man, I forgot about Ziro. I'm changing my vote. That's the most annoying character ever.

Worst: There are
so many characters that I
don't like. Permission to

at the entire cast of new characters?(Except for some of the clones.) I want to see the live-action series that is supposed to come out. I hope it doesn't turn into the 1940's
Noir series Backyardigans....

And what of this apparent comedy series that is supposed to come out sooner, directed by Seth Green?

You got something wrong there, bub. My 7-yr. old bro's friends are
constantly telling me about Hostage Crisis. Just cuz Cad bane's on it. He's probably the worst character in The Clone Wars.

Best: The spider admiral.

Kidding, kidding. Really, all of my favorites are the previously established characters, like Commander Gree, Boba Fett, and Aurra Sing. I'll have to go with Hondo Ohnaka.
Worst: The Geonosian queen. I don't know if they were trying to go for an Aliens reference with it, or if they just worked it out purely as a matter of Geonosians being insectoid, but it didn't really work for me either way. I know it's supposed to be a kid's show, but something a little more creepy couldn't hurt that much. I grew up watching baddies like Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Chucky (for you youngins, I don't mean the one from Rugrats

), Xenomorphs, Yautja, and the T-1000, but I turned out ok...I think.

Please. Traviss has poisoned your mind. Broaden your horizons for once. The Star Wars franchise doesn't revolve around clones and Mandalorians. It's about Jedi fighting the forces of the dark side, and it always will be.[/hide]

The only Mandalorian I like is Boba Fett...... IMO,Jedi are too.....
for me.
I have said enough of my opinion. Here's something incredibly boring: Clone Wars Adventures. An MMORPG where everyone is a Jedi, even if they are a clone trooper. There are no quests. Just minigames and friendly lightsaber matches.

Why won't they make a GCW series that focuses on young adults&adults? Marketing on the little kids is a real way to kill a franchise. Most of 'em have no clue what the prequel trilogy is!

Might I focus your attention on "The Old Republic," an MMORPG coming next spring that focuses on the Galactic Civil War of the ancient times (around 3,000 BBY). Of course, it's not free, but it does focus on young adults and adults, and it's probably 10000 times better than the free kiddie MMO.
As for me,
Best: Captain Rex
Worst: Ziro and Cad Bane
It just seems like they threw in a random bounty hunter that could not be defeated by even the Jedi. Plus, they reused the name of Bane. So now there is confusion among the real fans between Cad Bane and Darth Bane, founder of the Sith's 'Rule of Two,' when one just refers to "Bane."

Bane isn't invincible. Ahsoka pretty much kicked his butt at hand-to-hand combat in "Cargo of Doom" and then he was easily captured in the following episode. Overall I just think he's really a cool villain -- his design is unique and very old-school, he's threatening but beatable, and he's voiced perfectly by Corey Burton. I definitely think he's one of the better things to come out of this show.

So what? Skywalker and Solo have been reused dozens of times and people got over that.

Yes, but at least you know they are related somehow, and in the same timeline (save the "futuristic" Legacy era, but even then, Luke shows up). They are all linked. There is no connection whatsoever to Cad Bane and Darth Bane other than they are both "evil." Using the same surname to illustrate family bloodline is one thing, using the same surname to illustrate that they are both a "bane" to the protagonists is another. At least come up with a different menacing word... But that's just my two cents.

The kiddie MMO is 5 bucks'a month. And yes, I look forward to TOR. If you have read any recent Gameinformers, they mention a series of graphic novels coming out, and they actually might be good prequels! Does anyone think we might find a good soundtrack score for Season 3? IMO, the OT was
much better than both the entire prequel and TCW soundtracks, save for some like Anakin's Dark Deeds or Duel of the Fates. When I saw the first trailer for season three with that awesome Ep.5 soundtrack segment on Kamino. If they actually use those soundtracks, I'll be impressed. Suprisingly, I'm second or third gen, well... son of a first gen Star Wars fan. Although I grew up with the Prequels, the OT were my favorite. They still are.

I don't care about any rule of two. It's kind of stupid, in my opinion. If Palps had no issue joining Vader and himself, it's irrelevant. Using Dark Jedi as an excuse for a 2-sith limit is sort of cheesy. Although Vader is the main Skywalker, I always liked Luke better. He wasn't a whiny hipocrite. He was a wannabe.

Either way, I still prefer non-force users.

First, that game is not an MMORPG, it's just a casual MMO with minigames. There are no quests because that's not the purpose of the game. Second, someone that is a Clone, can't be a Jedi. What is possible to change is the appearance, which is the point of gaining credits in-game.
CommanderFixer wrote:Marketing on the little kids is a real way to kill a franchise. Most of 'em have no clue what the prequel trilogy is!
Kill a franchise by marketing at kids? How old are you? I call that keeping the franchise alive.
And I don't see the problem of some of them having no clue on what the PT is. Isn't that normal for someone who is born after them?

What? How so?
Twilight_Warrior wrote:and it's probably 10000 times better than the free kiddie MMO.
And how are those two games comparable? One is a MMORPG with the biggest budget of MMO history. The second is a simple mini-game HUB for casual players. You can't say one is XXX times better than the other when the purposes of both games are completely different.

What's so confusing about the Darth Bane/ Cad Bane nomenclature? Bane isn't Darth Bane's real surname, and Darth Bane is a human, whereas Cad Bane is a Duro. Darth Bane is a sith. Cad Bane is a bounty hunter. It's not that hard. Their only similarity is their name. That's like confusing George Bush with a rose bush.

I'm assuming, based on previous MMORPGs and the other KotOR games, that TOR will be rated T for Teen. Therefore, focused on a slightly more mature audience ranging from teens to adults.
I'm going to ignore your second statement, since we are veering off-topic, but if you really want to hear my opinion, you can shoot me a PM.

I guess my only real beef is that they could not for any possible reason think of an original name. That, and the protagonists seem to lose a few IQ points every time he's around and they make mistakes or do something that the audience is practically screaming "DONT DO THAT, DO THIS AND YOULL CATCH HIM," allowing him to get away.
