Very true. I wonder if they fixed it for the Xbox DLC version (the XBE was also updated). I'll have to check that out when I get home. Not that it helps here, but I'm curious.

It was fixed.

The tunnels were recolored to pale blue but still had some transparency. Sabers worked and CPs worked.

Once again, a great conversion. There were no bugs that I noticed at all.

The bit with suggestions...

I still think the transports should have a slowed (not base, as we all know how that ended) speed of 0, not simply because of personal preference, but because of their function. They aren't exactly starfighters so their most effective use is to fire at the ground rather than other air/space vehicles, and it's very hard to do that when you're zooming around the map. It would also be nice if you used your very good BF1 sides you made for Geonosis.
Perhaps different heros to stock Kashyyyk? There was a discussion about custom heros in this topic a while ago.
I also wonder if it would look better if it was given the BF2 Kashyyyk sky like AQT did on his Kashyyyk: Docks conversion, but that's just a thought. Likewise, Kamino might look better with the BF2 doors installed.

They're just ideas remember; use or ignore them as you please.

About the transports: Even with a slowed speed of 0 they still did weird things and besides, if they're standing it's just too easy to get kills. And also, they're just meant for transporting. :wink:
It would also be nice if you used your very good BF1 sides you made for Geonosis.
I won't use the BF1 sides, because I want them to stay exclusive to Geonosis.

Maybe I could use Luminara as the Republic hero, but I like Yoda more. :P

I don't think the BF2 sky would look better and also, I really like the old one.

That's a really good idea and I think I'll add them later.

UPDATE to Yavin 4: Arena: Changed the Republic sniper's and the Alliance rocketeer's skin to the jungle variant.
UPDATE to Bespin: Platforms and Cloud City: Changed the Alliance rocketeer's and sniper's skin to the urban variant and the Imperial officer's skin to the uniform variant.

I won't use the BF1 sides, because I want them to stay exclusive to Geonosis.
Why? That IG-droid felt like a whole new unit and made sense. The Magnaguards themselves are IG-units. That and everyone (almost) likes Phase 1 clones.

Hmm, if you like them that much, I could make a side mod that replaces all CW units with the EP2 ones?
Then there's Naboo: Plains (AT-XT?), but after that...you're out of maps. :(
There will also be Naboo: Theed (Daytime) and Tatooine: Dune Sea. And for Plains, I think I'll use either the AT-PT or one of the Naboo speeders.

UPDATE to Kamino: Tipoca City: Changed the Imperial officer's skin to the uniform variant. I couldn't use the doors unfortunately because it caused multiple problems. :(

If you do Tatooine: Dune Sea would it be OK to make the maps three letter name different to mine which is TDS, so people can have both maps installed at the same time, if they wish.

For Theed maybe, but for Plains it would make more sense to use Republic vehicles. Of the top of my head I can think of the AT-XT, AT-TE, AT-RT and IFT-X. The AT-TE unbalancing and the AT-RT is overused. The AT-XT is a rare sight but a welcome one, and the IFT-X is easy to implement but nowadays not used that much for some reason. CIS is obviously AAT and STAP unless that's being changed.

Remember the Kaadu! :D

Kashyyyk: Docks feedback, and suggestions:

Would it be possible to add AT-ST's to the GCW era instead of the Fighter Tanks, and put the reinforcment count up to 250 like in the first game. It just seems more suited to the size of the map. I also noticed that there was a double layer of water showing round the edge of the map which I found slightly distracting, and the beach color could also be lightened a bit more, but maybe you can't change that. Other than that it's a very good conversion

Ok so i have played through this map a few times and i love it!! just everything looks great. just one thing though could you please add in spider droids to the cw era so its more like the bf1 version?

About the reinforcements: You can change that in the map options
About the water: I'm not sure if I can change that and as far as I remember, it was the same in the stock Kashyyyk (but I will check that)
About the beach color: The terrain color is already the highest and I also burned it
About the vehicles: I decided not to use the AT-ST and spider droid, because I wanted the map to be more like the stock BF2 maps (heavy vehicles only on base planets like Geonosis, Hoth and Endor)
