What? A new map? Impossible!

But alas, I have installed the mod tools on my second computer for the sole purpose of creating new maps for this mod. I had a really strong desire to make something, and this is what my imagination spawned. I haven't named it yet, so feel free to suggest a planet name. Here's some screenshots.

I also dug up the source files to my old Jaal-Kan map, and added UCW to that as well.

I'll also have Dantooine. Not my old one (which nobody ever played, because I never released it) because for whatever reason, some time ago I remade the map into a complete piece of rubbish. It's waaaay too big, open, boring, flat.... need I go on? So I'll be making a new Dantooine from scratch. Also expect a Geonosis, because what Clone Wars mod would be complete without one? Trust me, it'll be different from most Geonosis maps.

A little unrelated, but wow, that first post is getting long.

Wow this truly is turning out to be the ultimate clone wars isn't it? Excellent work so far, and good luck with the new maps.

about the new map: It looks awesome, and actually looks sorta like it could be made into a Kashyyyk jsut by adding Wroshrs and reskinning the cliffs.

To many Kashyyks... Brain over loading!... I think there are way to many Kashhyk maps out there, don't make it like Geonosis. Please choose another name... Please...

Will Plo Koon be making his appearance in this mod? He's one of my favorite Jedi...

And what type of legion do you have for planets like Mygeeto and Hoth? Like any type of cold legion such as the Galactic Marines?

Is there gonna be a story for the shocktroopers being on this planet or just fun conquest?

Except there aren't THAT many Kashyyyks, and most of them are good anyways.

It's random legions. It changes every time you play.

Added an Anti-Vehicle unit for all maps that have vehicles. These units have rocket launchers and grenades as usual, but they also carry one powerful anti-vehicle grenade each. This grenade is more powerful than any other grenade, but only affects vehicles.

Maps without vehicles will have a different unit. (Possibly a shotgun-wielder? Or maybe different ones for every legion)

Some pics. I also got a new Thire, and a new AAT Clone Wars skin, shown in screenshots.

That clone wars AAT is a nice skin: does this mean (if you have other types of vehicles), that you will give them clone wars skins (to fit in with the AAT)?

Or maybe different vehicles skins for each unit! Like how each Legion has their own color scheme, give them matching vehicles. It would mean some LUA coding, so it loads the corresponding TGA for each legion correctly. But would make the file size larger, don't know if thats something you're worried about.

That map looks good but the sky and lighting don't really seem to go together well (personally reckon lighting should be brighter or sky should be darker).

Shotgun or other close range sounds good for non-vehicle maps since you've already got support covered.

hmm... for a name...

idk, the map screams "Dantooine: Fields" in my head.

I like the new skins but I think Thire should have a black kama and a commando pistol.
