If you're putting in a UT-AT, will the 3-legged rocket droids be making an appearance too?

It'll probably be awhile before the final UT-AT is released, so maybe somebody could design them.

I don't know, but I Doubt it. I have not learned to model yet so some one else will have to do it. I don't think the UT-AT will take a while to be released... Majin, said as soon as he's done with it, He'll give it to me. I think the Elevetor concept for this map is dead. It wouldn't work with the map... and I'd need a new Model. I think, I'll still put bridges overhead and have more "locals" fighting on them... From there, they can snipe, Or you can go up with Jet troopers :P

are we going by fun or by fact cause if fact then i dont think jettroopers were on mygeeto...just saying
(Also i saw that you had bacara as a unit make sure u sent his unit count to 1)

I seriously hope by fun. I know of many modders who make maps and mods that completely abandon what made the shipped game fun by making it "realistic" (Cough coughsaleumecivalleycough)

You do realize that regular conquest on Saleucami is just regular shipped units, right? Hero assault is the mode with the movie-accurate units. If you had downloaded the final version, you'd know that.

that is what I'm doing too... No, it will not have OOM9's carbine, but it will have a carbine as said previously. Bacara's unit count is set to 1, and jet troopers will be in the-- "non realistic" mode.

If you look at the movie carefully, they actually use the shipped DC15A guns so you don't need ot change it at all :P

Mhh, having Bacaras Unit count on 1 won't help AFAIK. The engine seems to add one unit to the unit count, to make sure that this unit can be played by a human, even if there's already a bot on the field. So could also keep the count with 4, it will always stay non-canon.

@Ateas: MR abandoned fun in Saleucami? For me, that's one of the funniest maps of all time.

@Topic: If the GAR gets Jet-Troopers, what will the CIS do to reach the other bridges? They need a flying unit as well, or balance will be gone.

@Elmo: Your profile says "miniatures" were your hobby...what kind of miniatures? Miniatures of trains?
Or Warhammer?

I'm into 40k, so I'm just curious.

Nope, that would be the fun, the jet troopers could jet to the top and shoot down. (It would be only you :roll: ) AND i could make it so the locals would snipe either side :P Pulch: Yep, i play LOTR from Gamesworkshop :wink:

So, what about Bacara himself? He actually used a carbine.

If the Reps have an advantage due to their ability to take the upper brigdes, what will the CIS get to counter this? More HP per droid?

Yeah I don't think the different levels of bridges should shoot at each other...it really ruins the gameplay :?

@Elmo: I had a few suggestions for countering the UTAT

1)Increase the Assault droids ammo to 10

2)Sprinkle the bridge with mine hintnodes

3)Increase the power of the CIS rockets

4)Of course the Dwarf Spider Droids :P

What's so hilarious about Saleucami?

(sorry, couldn't resist [and by the way the words would be 'most fun', not 'funnest'])

I think that you should add hintnodes for snipers and mines regardless if there is an UT-AT. But seriously, I don't think that the jet trooper would unbalance the sides at all, the most that would happen is only YOU go up to another bridge, and remember that there are locals up there too to shoot at you. ;)

If anything unbalances the sides, it's the UT-AT.

You guys need to take into account that there's probably not going to be CPs on the upper/lower bridges. Just because you have locals fighting up there doesn't mean they have to spawn right next to a CP. If anything, the upper and lower bridges should be used for atmospheric purposes, just so you can see bots fighting on other bridges and give you a feel of a bigger battle. You could even place the bridges far enough away from the main bridge so as jet troopers can't reach them.

It's an odf walrus :) Schizo, That's what i've been trying to say this WHOLE time! And i want the jet troopers to be able to reach the bridges to "interfere" :P with the locals' battle!
