I'm not quite sure, but you may need to recreate the .MSH without the backpack.

You would need to do that in XSI and go through a painful process of getting him ingame as a player model.

Re: How to eliminate the clone commando's backpack?
Nay, that works for capes, kamas and other stuff that acts like cloth but not for backpacks, unless the backpack is an addon msh. Redoing the model or hex-editing is the only way.obiboba3po wrote:yep or (im not sure about this) you can take off the "cloth" odf in the commando odf. i know it works like this for arc troopers, snipers, etc. but im not sure bout commando.MandeRek wrote:Noncense. Re: How to eliminate the clone commando's backpack?
It's all one MODL chunk with that model. Did you add an alpha channel to the backpack texture, and set it to all black?

i hex-edited replacing the 8 places next to ATRB of 04 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 to 04 00 00 00 04 00 00 00 and also paint of all black the backpack's texture but don't work, this appear in the game in black colourTeancum wrote:It's all one MODL chunk with that model. The alpha channel of the texture needs to be black, not the main part of the texture itself.

Make sure you download the tutorial, it's much easier to read that way.

Re: How to eliminate the clone commando's backpack?
In GIMP 2.4, the option to compose is now in Colors -> Components -> Decompose. Aside from that, everything works the same as before.
