Basically I heard that anyone under the age of 25 thought it was the most amazing movie ever, and anyone older didn't get it. Personally, don't care to see the movie.

Now, Despicable Me, on the other hand...
I've heard different things from different sources and concluded that being a gamer makes it much more tolerable and understandable. That or having a sizable imagination will do.

My parents both saw it and liked it and they're like what...in their 60's and 70's now? It was a fairly rapid plot but the director holds your hand all the way explaining practically everything you needed to know about the technology works. People used to slower-paced movies may find it a little hard to follow but its not something they wouldn't get.

But not "getting" the movie the first time around isn't necessarily a bad thing. Many movie's that I love I had to see multiple times before I understood 90% of what was going on (case and point Primer). I would still recommend seeing it, if not just for all the cool visual and actiony stuff.

Might of been underwater, thats how they usually do it

Okay i have a question about the ending:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Was it a dream or not? I personally feel its a dream because:
1) He missed the big kick, so means hes stuck in his own mind and in limbo?.
2) A internet page says they shot each other, meaning they went back into limbo
3) When he met his kids, they where in exactly the same postion as he left
4) there was a time skip from air port to home (could be media technique?)
5) ATHOUGH the tourc was faulting at the end... But surely if u want the tourc to fall it will fall in your dreams?

It's okay. Not "TEH GRAETESTT FILM EVAH!!1!1" like everyone says. Still pretty neat.

Saw it yesterday, and yeah, I agree with Squoobus. Some parts could have been done differently, I don't think they needed to explain things in such detail, and I don't like the whole math thing going on with predicting how much time they have left and all that (it's a frigging dream! It's chaotic and it can't be conciously measured by units of time), but it was pretty darn good, I didn't know they still made movies as good as this.

Kudos for them for not going with the predictable "and it was all a dream" ending.
Hidden/Spoiler:
Yeah, it is an ambiguous ending, so it can be all a dream, but still, I liked the way they did it.

But they are wearing different clothes. Not a huge change, but different.

Hidden/Spoiler:
Yeah, and I've just read that the actors who portray the children at the end are different too. So they have changed, it's just that it's a very subtle change.

I guess it doesn't matter, Cobb struggled to conform to reality, but by the end of the movie, he had already made peace with his... 'inner demons' and completed his task, "reality" became something subjective to him -either way he was going to see his children again- so both endings are reasonably the same.
