Someone was working on a replacement - it used skins from SWG and had a full-size R2 unit. Let me see if I can find a link to the thread.

That skin is really impressive, Nate! I like the scratches on the armor. You may want to smudge the edges the paint on his armor though. He seems a little clean and crisp (unless that is what you're going for).

Haha, the scratches were done by the maker of the original model, I just added the blue.
I think smudging the edges of the paint would be a good idea, when I finish it I'll post this message and the results.

21st Nova Corps Galactic marine

I like the revision. It looks more general, in a good way, and less specialized and unique than the stock galactic marines. It always appeared (to me) as though the specific blaster holes on the armor seemed too specific to be applied to four other units, you know? Much less a large side mod in which most units sport that skin. Great work on the skin, and it looks like that's a custom model too.

Very purty. Really neat model too.

Stormtrooper. I blew up the texture 8x, and did a bit of fine detail work, embossed it, and then shrunk it back down.

Looks pretty neat, but I think it could be improved by having the edges of each armor "plate" be dirty as well as the center. That's the part that would get the most wear anyway, right? I like the color you picked for the dirty parts, too.
