I was going to attempt to make some skins (yes they are clones ) but all the guides i could find were only editing sides in your custom world. I was wondering if it was possible to make skins for stock maps, and when thats done how to save them as rep and repshell files so I can distributes them.
Thanks in advance

Create a map so you can do this, you can't munge your new side without a map. After munging if you do everything correctly you will have a new republic side on this map, to distribute it go to your Battlefront Directory/addon/***/LVL_PC/SIDE and the rep.lvl will be there. You can now distribute that lvl file. Happy Modding!

Sweet as man, just what i needed with the lvl file, thanks for the help man.
@ ARCTroopaNata - that's what you do for a custom world/map - he wants to change stock sides.
The easiest way would be to copy over the whole side you want to edit into your world folder(ie. rep), edit all the skins you want, munge your customised side and copy the .lvl file over to where the original sides are located in your gamedata folder. I haven't actually tested this, but I don't see why it wouldn't work...
That's exactly what I said. You follow that tutorial to start it, making custom sides requires a custom map, regardless of whether or not you'll actually do anything with the map.
