Wow! I like the new terrain but is it abit too dark?

When this is released I would love to have some of those assets.

That map has a really good feel to it so far, I really like it.

Most of the 'Custom' assets are eather avalable on Phyc0fred's site, or mine.
I'll realease my assets, once I finish a few more things.

And maybe make anouther map.

Much better than the last beta release.
Ok lets see...

Layout:
Fantabulous. :)

Pros:
It is very acurate to kotor, I like.
The roots, and boxes scatered around provide excelent cover.

Cons:
The player can walk along the tops of the hills and avoid all combat.
(this can be fixed with some of the invisible geometrys that are in the common odfs)



Sides:
Also better than before.

Pros:
The sides are more varied, and intresting.
The new weapon models really add to it, I liked the czerka hunter weapon in particular.
Reskined lasers
Acurate weapon/unit names

Cons:
Some Czerka skins look pretty bad. Didn't you say, they all used the same texture?
The madclaw might be unblanced, alittle, but in that fray even they don't last too long. :P



Overall:
A serious improvement over the last betas, Keep up the good work.

Pros:
Fast paced, dagerous gamply.
KotOR, need I say more? :D
Cewl sides
Realism-ness

Cons:
Potential lag (I didn't but still)
Some slight Ai pathing problems.



Sugestions:
I Think that fog on portions of the map rather than all of it would be more kotor realistic, It would also help people with lower end systems.
The webs, are ment to be on the tree branches, and the slopes of the hills, its minor, but I thought I'd mention it.
It would be nice to have a custom skin for Zalbar



Personal Opinions:
Its just me, but I'm not to big on HUGE battles, I realize that more units than usual are needed due to the maps considerable size, but there are a tad much IMO.
My other personal opinion is about vehicles, I don't mind the swamp speeder, its handy for getting around, but the walkers on the republic side unbalance it a bit, and they don't work too well in the dense enviorment.
The 'swoop' is overly powerful, I think, but it is handy for moving about.

Edit: The webs can be hard to see, even on the ground, Maybe adding a faint light?

Here's my review:

The new layout is awesome althought I would recommend widening that little battle path where everyone gets slaughtered, and gets stuck. The battle AI is pretty much the same but because the previous beta's you did was on a wide map, the battle AI won't notice the player much but in this case where everyone is engaged in one stretch of road, the player gets slaughtered in seconds.

The AI tends to get stuck behind trees. Some of the tree branches or roots dissappear when you get close to it. The map is dark, I can't really see who is the enemy and who is my ally. The Sith Speeder gets destroyed too fast, the 'swoop' speeder(GCW) feels blocky as it can't get through the middle of a tree branch and bumps the other speeder at mild range. I don't know if it's a bad bug or a good bug but the AT-RT still shoots when overheating. :lol: It's good for me as I can balance the killings and stay alive. :wink:

I like the new change but hope you can turn in around abit making it wider, the darkness plus the awards makes me feel frustrated about playing this map but it's still fun.

Heres my review :

The map is now REALLY KOTOR-LIKE , i love it ...

Here are some suggestions :

- The droideka is no B-1 series
- The weequay has no hairs
- Please Change th CW heros
- You should use jolee bindo as the wookies hero
- The At-Rt can shoot when it´s overheated
- you should give Zaalbar other weapons like a vibroblade

But this map is real fun ... keep on good work :chew:

I think you should lighten it a bit. When I started playing, my brightness was at default (50) and it was pitch black. (I turned it up to play, of course)

The first unit in the Czerka lineup looks like crap. (No offense meant to the skinner)

The AI tended to get stuck on the sides of the path as well as roots and branches.

I agree with FOOLIS; you should make Jolee the wookiee side's hero.

Several trees and branches disappear if you look at them in certain angles.

Commander Gree doesn't cost points to unlock. (Shouldn't he?)

Many of the vehicles don't have sounds. (The AT-RT, the swoop bike)

Most of the battle takes place at CP2. Spread out the action a bit.
