Public Demo will be released at 11 AM CST. Probably won't take long for it to spread all over the internet.

It's now avaliable. :D

EDIT: Good giref it's going to take almost 13 hrs with my DSL connection. They need mirror sites, it's only 741 megs...

Downloading at a capped 9kbs and at this rate it says a 22hour download time!!!

I have found a solution! (Well not me, but this person here called orcafighterpilot on Lucasarts forums. Praise be to him)

In short, download from http://www.download.com !

Its about 5 times faster than Gamespot for me, I got in there quick! Only 4 hours 41 minutes left!

I'm already downloading it.... for free! Thank you FILEPLANET!!!! I just hope my connection doesn't get severed before it finishes: The file for the demo is 700+ megs.... the game looks awesome, reminds me of Star Trek Armada II with the C&C Generals graphics engine.

Yeeeaaaaaaaa........ that's kinda why I mentioned fileplanet. Also, if you have a profile with fileplanet, then you also have, or can have, an account with Gamespy, which is who BF is played through, at least I do. Oh well, I tried.

I'm getting it off FileFront now after the ****ing download.com spazzed up my download after 1 hour! GAH!

53.2 kbps off Filefront atm, 3 hours left, 184 MB downloaded.

:D Thanks Guru! If it weren't for that link, I'd be downloading from another site at around 10 hrs! Its taking me around 2 hours, with around 159 kb a second!

Dangit, lol. I've been downloading this thing for well over four hours from that -dannnnnng- download.com, with over 2 and a half more freaking hours and I see that Guru gets his demo form fileplanet in 25 minuntes?
