Yes I need this answer also
Alpha told me that it had to do with no deatailed texture but that would mean that a lot of maps also don't have detaild teextures

Yup, lots of people neglet it. It makes maps look a lot better when you have them though. It's not a computer probllem, E_S.

It's some kind of problem with the graphics card i think. When i played this game on a friends computer, which doesn't have a good graphics card, i got the black floor problem some times. But only on some maps.

I'd be curious to know what's this GPU model you're talking of...

Actually, it's not a graphics card problem. I discovered the answer to this by screwing around with the options:
Go to the Video Options screens, and turn on Bump Mapping.
That's it. Well, it worked for me, anyway.

Set terrain detail on low.

Well, i think that it's a problem with your settings then

Syndacyte', you should reduce all your graphics' options to the lowest settings, play at SWBF, and then, set each of them to the "medium" level, and so on, until you see the "black ground" problem... Then, you'll be able to determine what option causes this glitch...

I thought it was a good way to fix such a problem... But unfortunately, it requires a certain time...

Yep, but troubleshooting does, and this is the best way to find a problem...unless the problem is a combination of stuff, such as if Texture qual is on low and ground qual on low, then the problem comes up. Buecause then there are a lot of combinations that you have to try, and that takes time.

I agree with that... But hopefully, SWBF II can configure visual settings to fit with your computer's abilities...
