Neat! Aquliaris and The Big "L" were pretty fun, if not angering...

Not much more to say than that. Maybe I would have more to say if I saw some more pictures  ....

Hey, nice models. I take it this will be another map composed of 90%+ new models?

That's a big improvement over three years. Thank goodness there's no stretched terrain textures.

So the whole point of this series is an excuse to remake your first map?
Hidden/Spoiler:
Good excuse
Excuse me for asking, but do you want to share the type of playing style you've got planned for this map? (As in: Aquailaris was shooting at things, Big L was platforming/stealth, so then what style would the Bakura level be)

Is Luke going to be in Bakura, or is that just a teaser pic?

Yes! That is more accurate than you think. I had always wanted to use Bakura for a campaign, but by the time I got around to knowing enough to do that, I wanted to tell a bigger story (and also I wanted to do a map with domes, and I couldn't do that on Bakura). Also, I never finished Bakura as well as I would have liked, and I don't like leaving things unfinished or unused.

I will share that eventually in detail. This is going to be more similar to Aquilaris in terms of gameplay, but there are some changes I'll make to create a more directed homage (to a specific game, a la Big "L"'s homage to MG). You'll also probably see a split story - playing as one character following one branch and another character following a parallel branch.

It'll be mostly new stuff, but since it won't be confined to a completely interior map, like The Big "L," I probably won't use as many (and may use some stock trees, etc.).

Hoo boy, have I been there before. :P Almost exactly what happened with me and the whole Aldura thing.

The 'split story' idea would be fun. That could open up potential for some interesting puzzles where you have to use one character to clear a path or unlock a door for another character somewhere else in the map.

I don't.:P

The Vace Thermill Missions are supposed to be a challenge, there is a felling of accomplishment you get when you beat Mav's maps and I wouldn't prefer it any other way.

@Mav: Nice uh, screenshot of Luke jumping down a hole.

It's probably just me but I'd prefer to have it harder than before, I found both missions easy.

You can post whatever you like. It's not likely I will use any suggestions posted, though (in fact it is less likely that I will do something if someone posts it).

Ah, anyway, i will wait to see more screeenshots and see more of what it is about, it would be pointless if i post a suggestion that cant be done...

Well, since aquilaris was an objective-based shoot-em-up game, and Big L was a sneaking around, try not to die game (Metal gear, of course), then Bakura will probably be...

I like a challenge but not like the end part when you fly away I could never do that...
