[Holy Diet Dr. Pepper with a {Diet Dr. Pepper}in' Straw!] That's, that's... be-e-ay-uitiful (beautiful

). By the way, is anyone planning on using the BARC Speeder? Because I'm thinking about reskinning it, but I don't know how to do the stuff with Hex editing the .msh to call for my new texture.

Now weighing in at a towering 178m, (no more 40m weakling

) "Maviation Starport." The models I showed in the video are now fully inside a large atrium in the building (you can see the smaller hangar entrance popping out there in the center).
The atrium is accessible by a large elevator in the back or by a large spiral ramp running through the building's base. The top half of the building is only accessible by elevator (or flyer), taken from inside the atrium to the inside of the large hangar. (All the elevators are glass - or transparisteel, whatever - so you get to see everything going on as you ride up. It looks really neat.)
From the large hangar you can take a catwalk down to the large landing platforms or a catwalk up to the flight deck. The large catwalk to nowhere on the flight deck is set to connect with the upper city.

Hey, Rep', just a question, is your building still the same size as it is in the downloadable .wld file? Because that's how I'm basing BladeRon Industries' height (I think I can make it to 200 meters, even though my "building" is not looking terribly amazing at the moment). I'm already about 2/3 the height of yours, and I'd like to get in on the Upper City (Hey, I need to get people to my lot
somehow
.

The size of the building in the downloadable .wld file is around 100m.

Looks sweet Mav!

Not my model, but I couldn't resist. It fits really well with my theme and it's a fun model (original model by EvilleJedi, converted with permission).
Now I have to resist converting another 4 or 5 starship models of his.
Edit: So maybe 1 more. They're just so nice. And different.

Ah, I see you went with the grey version,
Hebes. I thought you would.
It's what I would've done too
It looks pretty nice, if I do say so myself.

Meh, nevermind about making it taller. It's not really the sort of building you want to be a major part of the skyline

. Maybe I'll just put a spire at the top.

Mav, same comment. Simple, but I like it. Now I'm not afraid to make my building just a very tall cylinder. Oh, and Rep, we have to keep it within 60 meters, right? If it's 60, mav's scale that he told Crazy Ewok is a little off.

You're right, I was a bit off. It looks like the height to the very top is about 125m.

Uh, no. 1 grid square in XSI ~= 1 meter ingame. And if I had any doubts about that I just assuaged them by checking ingame.

But I did my math... Okay, getting rid of my data in the other post.

Thats the old building. It is irrelevant.
Jedi temple - 375 meters
Commons building - 180 meters
New scaled up, my building - 250 meters
upper city streets - 175 meters
Teancum's building - 180 meters

How tall are the prefabs? I'm going to stack them up in XSI for scale if that's okay with you, so I need to know their height so I can make a building of the right height.

In XSI create a cylinder. Select the polygons on the top of the cylinder. On the sidebar type 175 in the y box in translations and hit enter. That will take you to the height of the streets.

I guess that would work, but it would probably be better to just make the height in the box that pops up (or select it and push enter). Because otherwise, if you accidentally made the height 2 instead of 1, you'd end up with a building that's 350 meters, which is... slightly taller than the upper city.
