Hex editing error -list index out of bounds

i have a problem hex editing idk what i am doing wrong i followed deviss's tut and rep sharpshooters i got to the encode # thing when i try to encode the # i get an error that says list index out of bounds what do i do ???

That's an error that the meshviewer always gives when there's something wrong with a .msh.
Try to redo everything you did and make sure you follow every single step from the tutorials closely.

its not in msh viewer i get it in xvi32 when i looked at it in msh viwer it looked right evan with out encoding the #

well please which numbers you put in HEDR and MSH2 ? how you setted override 4 bits etc??

the # i entered was the exact same one that the tutorial said to enter i was trying to hex edit the exact same thing you did in the tut.
