now, that was funny :funny2:

and as i promised, here is a beta video,
and i know that some textures on the turrets are missing
video

@ acryptozoo: should i add barrels?
very awesome :D
but what do you mean by barrels ?

got a little update today
instead of asteroids to crash into you have to worry about crashing into tiny little comms arrays and other satellites

It's a Mercy medical frigate, made by Warb_Null for EaW :)

i got a new little update that i came up with yesterday

both sides will have a "fleet tender" unit which is basically just a slow star fighter that can fix turrets heal ship components ... ect i will also include "build satellites" around the battle feild which you can build either missile tubes or laser cannons to turn the tide for your side
* the .msh for the tender is a placeholder for now 9 will find/make another one

(your vulnerable while fixing things so watch out, auto turrets will pick you off pretty quickly)

Is there any incentive for fixing things?

Love the ideas! :) How long will it take to build one of these satellites or repair a turret?

YAY! You changed up the planet!! Did you just recolour it, or did you get some actual photos of planets?

reuved it and used a picture of the eaw yavin
EDIT:
@Fiodis
there wont be any really incentive in points but if you fix turrets they can help you win
@sim-al2: the satellites will take the same time as the land turrets to build and you can repair turrets pretty quickly around 40-50 seconds

Can one of the satellites be the hubble! Or the death star?? Pleeease? I am a fan of easter eggs, so this would be a nice addition to your maps

Eh. If you spend your time shooting down starfighters it helps you win faster, so why bother?. Certainly with the MP space servers no one cares to repair the shield generator, since even if you succeed all you really accomplish is giving the enemy another chance to get an extra 18 (is it 18?) points.

that is true
but its an optional feature you can go in fix a turret or 2 build a satellite quickly, then get to a fighter and join the battle.. or not

WIP for the fleet tender msh is almost done
