Ok, I'm sorry i've been away for so long. I've had to do the following things
-get a netbook... just to see that it can't play SWBF because it has no graphics card and doens't even have Windows on it, instead it has Ubuntu Netbook which is perfectly fine, but i can't play SWBF on it.
-i couldn't log into gametoast for some reason on the netbook, so i had to try my luck with the virus-infested old laptop i used to mod on)
Because of this, the mod had to be postponed. Right now it is in the same place where it was, nothing changed.
I can start modding again when one of the two following things happens
-I restore my old virus-infested laptop by erasing the drive and reinstalling Windows XP
-or i get a better laptop to replace the lame netbook, one that has Windows on it.
Don't expect any updates until this problem is solved... except for this one below
UPDATE
While i have not been able to play or do any hardcore modding. i have been able to think of ideas for things (vehicles, units, props) and create basic odfs for them
Carriers i created (as close to carrier class as possible)
-a Repulic Landing Craft (just a model i borrowed from Wishihadaname's LPR assets), that dispenses 1 AT-TE, and 2 IFT tanks
-a CIS Landing Craft (the I-shaped things in ep1), can dispense 1 MTT, and 5 Trifighters)
-an Imperial High-Orbit Ship (a reskinned republic carrier) that can dispense 2 LAAT gunships,
and 1 TIE Fighter
-a Rebel COrreliean Cruiser, that drops an Alliance Hovertank, and 3 speeder bikes
Like i said, when i fix the computer problems i'm having, then the mod can resume (let's say i can start at the end of the week)

Those ideas sound awesome! Can there be like CP's you can capture in the ship?
Have you fixed your pc? I hope those viruses aren't to bad.

But here is a large update to how Battlefront 1.5 mod is going
1. It will be released no later than June 25th

New Modes instead of Hunt and Duel and Wave: Player vs Bot (i know Fasty made a BF2 mod of the same name, but its different)

OOM-9 (SC Blaster Rifle x0, Orbital Strike, H/A Pack x1, Thermal detonator x3
Commander Cody: DC-15A Blaster Rifle, DC-17 Hand Blaster, thermal Detonator x3, Orbital Strike
Starkiller/Galen Marek: Lightsaber, Force Lightning, Force Pull
Obi-Wan, Mace Windu: Lightsaber, Force Push, Force Pull
Han Solo: DL-44 Blaster Pistol, X-45 Sniper Rifle x20, Stormtrooper Disguise, Remote Charge Dispenser x10
a Shadow guard: same weapons as Starkiller.

You have to defend your own CPs and kill all the preset enemies. I just need to get it so you are forced onto the specific side

The inspiration
In history class today, we had a substitute who put on "Saving Private Ryan". I saw the scene where they storm the beach in a huge battle, and was inspired to make kashyyyk Docks more like that.
Its Republic and Wookiees vs CIS and Wookiees vs Empire
The Wookiees have mine traps set up all over their command posts , deathtrap pits carved into the ground under the water, and a good number of turrets this makes more explosions, noise, and chaos. The water level has been raised slightly, to the point that you cannot cross it and shoot at the same time.
So now, the CIS and EMpire have the following vehicles.
Empire
Waterskiff (3) 2M Repulsortank (1) Imperial Shuttle (1), Speeder bike (3, plus the Imperial Shuttle carries 15 onboard and can drop them)
If you play as the CIS or empire, you cross the water and almost immediatley your skiff starts getting fired on, or you get injured/killed. If you are in a flyer, its hard flying low and not getting shot down, so the best way is to fly high. The turrets are incredibly powerful, consisting of machine gun turrets (can take out a crowd in about 30 seconds) , incendiary mortar turrets (can eliminate a crowd with the explosion alone, and homing missile turrets (flyers have to worry the most about these as they fire five missiles at a time, and fast) Right now, i'm working on making certain props and buildings destructable, with explosions.
The Wookiee Side
Wookiee Mechanic: Rapid Firing Bowcaster x500, Fusion Cutter
Wookiee Rocketeer: Wookiee Rocket Launcher x15 (fires the same shots as the rocket turret), Bowcaster, Thermal Detonator, Melee Attack

Version 2.0 of this mod is in progress, to be released no later than August 20th.
SIDES Changes:
The complete conversion of the Rebels into the TFU Militia (ie. the replacement of the XWING with a Militia ARC-170, the merging of the k-wing and the rm-09 shuttle).
Starfighters, and Gunships all move much faster, and are much deadlier in the air.
Stormtroopers have been given skins with color
Map Changes
Many maps are being redone/replaced or turned into other planets (sounds odd, but it works pretty well)
I've repaced Naboo plains (my least favorite map) with Majin Revan's Naboo: Encounter.
Hoth is being turned into a desert map (maybe tatooine)
For open maps (like Naboo Encounter, Chainisle, or Kashyyyk), i've placed capital frigrates in the sky. if there are flyers, available, then the frigrates are higher so you have to fly a bit to get to them. if there are no flyers, then they are lower in the sky and can be taken out with Orbital strikes. enemy frigrates should be destroyed.

-Fires Rockets that slowly lose height the farther they travel, . This can be fired rapidly. They can also be charged (charge time is slow), to fire a slightly slower-moving rocket, with no gravity pull, that, just like in the movies, can take out an AT-TE in one hit. Has 128 Rockets
-The Secondary weapon is now a regular laser cannon
-Health raised from 6000 to 8000
Snail Tank has been improved
Has new weapons
Primary Weapon: Flak Gun, a slow firing cannon that fires flak projectiles all over the place. it's kind of like a huge, deadlier shotgun
Secondary Weapon: Mortar Launcher: Fires a devastating Incendiary mortar that explodes with a huge radius.
Health has been lowered from 10,000 to 7000
Sides Changes
Super battle Droids no longer serve as heavy units.

Nice!.
Ok about fixing the rebellion side. the tfu militia has been terminated (i've grown out of my TFU phase). by terminated i mean taken out and shot. the rebels are back. Starkiller is still there for wave mode maps, but other than that, they are pretty much gone
Heroes: Luke, Han Solo, Starkiller, Kyle Katarn (maybe),
EDIT: discoveries
1. I've discovered a simple way of loading all the main side lvls (all, cis, imp, rep, i loaded everything in them) in one script and referencing that script in all the mission scripts. This removes the risk of missing units and vehicles. It works to my advantage
2. I have also discoverd a way to add new campaigns alongside the regular ones. it hasn't been tested yet and loads in a file called support.lvl which in a sense acts as a secondary shell.lvl for the scripts used
This second discovery didn't work. nothing new showed up except two unselectable buttons ^
EDIT 3: My computer has just died on me once again , this time, i fear, permanantely. so unless i can salvage the mod off of the hard drive somehow (probably will have to start from my backed up really old version) but i need to get a new computer

Before long time the same happen to me.My computer just...die 3 times for 1 year.I lost 4 amazing maps because it need to be fully reinstalled.

@Ginev/gogo12: Yes. Thats a great idea because it means the mod can still progress while my modding computer is dead.
What I'd want
-a Geonosis map that is like the movies
-Space Coruscant
-Space bespin (CW era. because platforms in CW era wasn't working for me)
-a Saluecami (or however its spelled) map if it's possible
-The rest is up to you.

Because my computer died, I've lost the newest sides and sides assets (and for those of you who didn't excatly like the visual patch, that too). What I still have are...

Bits and pieces of the sides (effects, some models and skins, a few crucial odfs here and there)

You will have them About animations.I know that bambdur know how to put BF2 jedi anims into Bf1.If he have some ready animations he can send to us a common.lvl file and the project will be amazing and all players will be exited including me
