Hello guys! Just thought I would contribute this skin I made to this forum. Its my first skin for this game, I do have around 4 months of experience in skinning TGA files for other games and its cool that I am able to do this for one . I really wasn't sure what to even make, so I played around with some ideas and I think it came out rather nice. The HD trooper skin is credited to the appropriate people in the "read me". This can be used or further edited for any project as long as credit is given. Given more time I would like to keep practicing and achieve a higher level of design.

Thank you, I still happen to have the PSD file and I guess if someone requested a different color, I probably could pm them different variants.

This is a pretty good-looking texture, but please, please, PLEASE paint over the fake shine in the visor. Other than that, nice job.

I think the torso area is especially impressive, I really like the skin. Personally, I think the blue paint around the nose area looks a little weird, but that is just my personal taste. That being said, I really like the skin, and might find use for it in some of my projects. Would it be okay if I could change the color of the blue paint (on my own) and maybe edit the area I mentioned earlier? All credit would be given to you, of course.

Of course you may, would you like the PSD file as well? If you have photoshop this file would be most helpful.

I do not have photoshop, I use GIMP, but I think I can work just fine with the skin on its own. Others may find the PSD to be a useful resource though.

GIMP can open PSD files, with layers intact.

Indeed it looks quite good. Only thing bothering me is the white bit you left around the visor. Mayby that is what yuke means. Otherwise nice work.

Well the visor thing really can't be helped seeing that's how Lanj designed the HD skins. But seeing as yuke could probably download a lower res trooper skin and copy/paste that part over the head/visor, that would be a solution(noticing yuke's fantastic skinning skills, it will be no prob for him)


Also the psd file I had was deleted(not sure how). Next time though I think ill add that file along with the TGA file so this doesn't happen. Thank you everyone for the suggestions!
