Ryloth: Grassy Canyon
Just a small enclosed map. Setting is a desert with a few small grasses.

Hmm, in my opinion that tatooine structure is too bright, it doesn't fit with the rest of the map.
I like the uneven terrain.
Shouldn't the ARC troopers be blue? I know theoretically there are green ARCs, but they usually are blue. In wookiepedia they don't even know if the green ARCs do exist... ahh, it doesn't matter anyway. Cool skins.

Green is sergeant. Plus, it'd be weird to have blue soldiers in an all-green legion.Nihillo wrote:Hmm, in my opinion that tatooine structure is too bright, it doesn't fit with the rest of the map.

This is a very nice enviroment , but I think it's a little bit empty and I would change the colour of the foliage..The skins are also very nice
Are there any ARCs in the Ryloth episode? Or is this map a fictive version?Culvar wrote:Green is sergeant. Plus, it'd be weird to have blue soldiers in an all-green legion.Nihillo wrote:Hmm, in my opinion that tatooine structure is too bright, it doesn't fit with the rest of the map.

Bingo. Also, the map now has many more rocks in the open places. Sadly, my AT-Te won't spawn.B.I.G_Cookie wrote:This is a very nice enviroment , but I think it's a little bit empty and I would change the colour of the foliage..The skins are also very nice

Looks nice. For the AT-TE problem, there should be plenty of topics in the modding forum if you use the search function. It's probably something simple like forgetting to set up the command walker memory pool.

That's a nice map. It amazing what you can do with those Tatooine rock-mountains.

Re: Ryloth: Grassy Canyon
This map looks great so far. My only suggestion would be to make those crates a bit darker, to fit the environment.

Gonna be watching this one. Small=win, and it's got nice atmosphere without having to add every single public asset to the map, like a lot of mappers do. Look forward to playing it. Let me just say: don't lose your source. As of right now it looks awesome, and it'd make a great addition to the Xbox mod if 1) you're interested and 2) it turns out as nice as it looks. No guarantees, I'm just saying it looks really great.

http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewtop ... 27&t=17869 - Might be some help for the AT-TE.
Looks like a really nice map! I can't wait to play it!
