I'm not sure exactly when ryloth and thule will be out it's up to Manderek probably version 2 right now 1.5 is being finished

It's up to you guys, but I'd love to get a sneak peek at Ryloth and Thule. If they're as good as they look I'd like to put them on the Xbox too.

Updates: well now I would like to compare Khimera to a box of chocolates...you never know what you're gonna get...sorry for the cheesy quote but Khimera comes in 3 different flavors now a rain soaked flavor, a cloudy sunsety flavor, and the normal clear sky flavor seen in the original map, that's right 3 random skydomes and fxes seen here

That cloudy sky is pretty. The rainy and clear sky are also very cool.

Looks like I was right when I said we could expect to see more of the random skydomes system in the future of Battlefront modding. :D

there are definately a ton of limitations with the skydomes but there are several work-arounds that do produce a nice effect

Nice that you put again hand on khimera.Its still one of my Favos.
The cloudy and rain sky are very cool. :thumbs:

About that other Khimera Map you made.
you could bring this Map also to an more hq state.
Thats the only Map with an very nice Volcano but this Map tend to crash sometimes.
Like i said great to see you back on Khimera.

I really like both the rainy and cloudy. Because the last one had clear sky and it would be nice to have a different change in atmosphere.

Currently working my **** off trying to get changing lighting to work. I will get it to work eventually (several methods, trying simplest ones first...almost certain most complicated one will work) Also if you haven't already you can edit water colours in the fx files (can't tell if you have or haven't).
Oh and good job on the skies BTW. Glad my tut actually worked for someone else.

yea i did the rain version has darker water

also do you know if you can control terrain color from this because it would really help with doing a day night variation if you can't not a big deal

also I'm wrestling with the idea of including with this map a remake of Khimera Jungle (probably renamed Khimera Islands and making an actual Jungle map or a new map entirely) It would be like having sort of a Khimera Trilogy the mappack would be that big because all 3 maps would share same sides for all 4 factions so ppl tell me what you think

@YaNk:
Ground textures can (probably) be done with sides: load the textures through sides, have different sides loaded with different environs, with different colours/brightness foir ground textures. Remember - no uses of those textures in the world folder and make sure you call for textures in the side req.
Trying to get the "colorcontrol" fx to work...so far no luck...:(

I would like to see a Khimera Trilogy, if it is not too much of a trouble.

The custom skydomes are great, although how did you do them? ( :D )
I didn't think Khimera Jungle was ugly, it was fun, although near to impossible as the clones. I found Khimera hard as the clones aswel. Are you planning on making the number of reinforcements even, or more people for one team?

my usual cis side has a weaker defense but stronger attack then the rep side the all and imp sides have the same health as default sides so I usually give cis slightly (5-10) more units on the battle field and maybe 20-50 more reinforcements this makes it pretty balanced. yes the map is hard for the clones in the original so i will try to make it more even

Ya, I had to play as Mace/Vader almost all the time because the clones/Empire were outnumbered. Btw, are you gonna keep Mace or create a new hero? I hope its a new hero.
