Here are some problems im getting
1) I place an object in a ground map on zero editor, save it , munge it , and its not there. (works in space)
2) I got the N-1 to spawn once in space, but i deleted the spawn space, and edited the ones already there an it didnt work
I try to make a new one and it still wont work
3) This is a question, not a problem
can you force the AI to follow a path, if so, how
I am sure theres more, but thats all for now

*Edited*- I also tried to edit an existing vehicle spawn with all_fly_n1, but it didnt work
I typed in all_fly_xwing_scand it spawned an x-wing
i checked to see if there were missing files, but there werent any

1) clean and munge....if it doesn't work you are maybe missing some files......do you have seperated the msh in the MSH folder and the odf in the ODF folder?( i know it's not necessary but works better)

2) new vehicles (even edited) need new odf names otherwise the game will use the original

3) yes it's called planning[barriers]

Make sure you've read both the Everything You Need To Know thread, and all the documentations that come with the modtools.

For the second question, what Jawa means is that you need to rename the ODF so that it's not the same as the original. If the N1 you downloaded already has an ODF associated with it, then it's probably something you modified in the ODF that's stopping it from appearing in-game. There's no reason why a modified vehicle spawn (or a new one for that matter) shouldn't work, so it must be something you changed in the ODF. I think I just repeated myself a lot there, LoL.

You create a new side. Read the Jedi Creation documentation. I think there's also a tutorial in the Everything You Need thread.

I think that you download the map, put it into your BF2ModTools folder, and munge it
