I'm a bit late in the modding scene but I am interested in making maps.
I've looked around the stickies and I've found plenty of interesting tutorials. Yet I have a major problem. Zeroeditor keeps on saying that I need SWBF installed even though I do have it installed.
So pretty much right now I am really confused.
I put BFbuilder @ C:/
I implemented EVERY fix I found
Star Wars Battlefront is installed at the default directory.
No, it is NOT cracked. I bought the game myself.

Well, I see some problems.
A: ZeroEditor is for SWBF2 users, not for swbf1
It probably cant find swbf2.

I am talking about Star Wars Battlefront 1 modding. There IS a zeroeditor. Download the SDK yourself, you'll see there is. I got it working a while ago but I reformatted from Windows Vista back to XP (XSI kept crashing so I hope that'll fix the problem)Grev wrote:Well, I see some problems.

Now, it won't recognize the game. Any registry key missing or anything??? I have the 3 CD set BTW. Not the DVD if that may seem to affect it.

ZeroEditor is used for both BF1 and BF2 modders, Grev.
@MetallicA: Did you extract the tools to C:, or did you just move the tools there? That caused problems for me. Also, what version of the game do you have? I've heard rumors that UK users have to install it differently.

Hmmm. I didn't think of extracting @ C:/ I just moved it there. Mkay, I will try that out. Hopefully that'll work. After that, I'll try to get the XSI trial working once more.YTF wrote:ZeroEditor is used for both BF1 and BF2 modders, Grev.

Is this Best of PC SWBF or an original SWBF?

Re: Zeroeditor not recognizing Star Wars Battlefront
The 3 CD set. I reinstalled the BFbuilder and it still is causing me problems . . .
Re-install Battlefront perhaps? Time to find discs 2 and 3. Now where were they . . .
EDIT
***SOLUTION FOUND, USED BOPC REGISTRY FIX LOCATED @ http://www.macxgamers.com/index.php?showtopic=2213&hl=***
It works w/ the original CD set too!!! Lucky me!
Ya can lock (or even delete) this now.
