Aren't there a dozen of such games included in the modern Star Wars adventure games such as TFU, Revenge of the Sith and etc? There's always a multiplayer duel mode or something like that.

Actually, those two you listed are the only "modern" Star Wars games with that type of gamemode.

That's the news I'm hoping for, but if it's going to happen, I wouldn't be surprised if it's Q4 2010 or early 2011.

So it looks like Battlefront 3 could still get announced at VGA. and legends could be announced via email or a press conference. We all kinda forgot about that legends could get announced in a press conference or emails...

Then there's always the possibility that Battlefront 3 is subtitled Legends. Unlikely, but possible. Look at Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

Even though I'm not keeping my hopes up that much for BF3, Tean could be right, seeing as the Legends title would most likely be given to something which has multiple characters and/or story lines as I said before.

Very true Star wars battlefront 3: legends. Not the best name but if its Swbf3 then im happy Legends could be a "project name" as well.

That's not surprising. Companies often buy domains like that so regular folks can't get em and do something dumb with them. (people often buy a domain and try to sell it for ridiculous $$$) I mean www.starwarsbattlefront4.com even redirects to stawars.com
