since this is a SWBF3 project, we will use the SWBF3 assets in first priority. If there are things that don't fit in the mod, because the models where in a too early progress, we may take some TFU stuff.

Wait a moment...it's all because of a simple chain connecting two cape parts together? I could paint in onto the texture anyways..
Last Hero Update
Progress has been done quite a lot. We added some more heroes to the CIS and GCW teams. Open the images below in order to know more about them:
At least one is still remaining. Or three? I am not sure. For now I am done with the heroes. They still need their proper weapons, some may need new animations or new munged animation sets. But the basic stuff is done.
Soon I will show you another update and a more in depht information post about the first and biggest game mode. Here's a little teaser of something that is as important as Space Combat itself:
You might guess it already. It's non-canon, huge and powerful. However it's not as destructive as a heavy ship turret.

Hmm, Asajj Ventress with no top on, never thought they would allow that in a Star Wars related video game. Love these past few updates, really like the way Ben Kenobi and IG-88 look.

It randomly has the same color as her skin color (Not a wise decision by her tbh). The designer who created her probably had to work with this reference from the Clone Wars TV show (2003):

Yes but usually clothes do not fit on the underside of breasts so tightly. The shirt kinda drapes down and the animated photo kinda shows that too. But who's complaining

It's nice to finally see IG-88 (and before EA put him in their game as DLC), I suggest adding poisonous weapons, explosives and double rifles to him.

Great trailer! Will these BF3 sides be playable on other maps, perhaps stock maps or Marvel4's BF1 conversion maps?

yes. in the first step we test the sides on that testmap and in the next step we'll add them to every map as a new era. I'm pretty sure, we'll add an interface to add this to custom maps, too.

Awesome! If I had only one request, it would be to add your great Padme model as a playable hero in some other stock/custom map (ie. as a hero you can select to play as her in conquest mode, not simply hero assault). For some reason, I think the only map that allows anyone to play as her as a hero in any conquest map is an Ilum map, but your model of her is so much better I think there should at least be one more map where you can play as her in conquest. Just a little suggestion.
In any case, I love the work so far. I never tire of the Palpatine twirly attack.

If we're talking heroes and suggestions, Rahm Kota and Starkiller would be great as the hero and villain of GCW Death Star in my opinion.
I know Ben Kenobi and Vader are better choices, but I don't know where else they could go.

I'm assuming none of the specular map textures are completed and/or implemented yet since almost everything is unusually shiny, unless this was intentional?

Every texture already has a specular map applied. Some are custom, some are original. I think some greyscales can be edited/changed a bit and some need a higher "value" (The ones between 0 and 255).

Are the hero unit animations complete? I feel like many of the character's body parts, like arms, collide with their own torsos, as well as all of the custom cloth. The Vader animation stance is really cool, but I would suggest in the combo file you make him have his lightsaber off while in an idle stance, so it doesn't go through his body. Look at Emperor and Revan's combos for example.

I plan on adding some more idle animations and mixing up other animation sets, especially in GCW era.
The clothes stuff...well..it's still some kind of a myth to me. Let me explain: When I play this map using my intern onboard graphics card the clothes stretch to another size. When I roll or jump, for example, the cloth's size doubles.
Now the fun part: When switching back to my Nvidia graphics card, the better one of my both, the clothes sometimes become static and don't move like a cloth. More like a simple, enveloped mesh. I can't explain this to myself..We plan on fixing this. Maybe the poly count is too high or the collisions are too small. Some work fine. Some others bug me.
Vader had turned off his lightsaber in the first place. But unfortunately I couldn't get his saber throw working. It works, actually, but only without a red blade then. I am still thinking about removing saber throw and giving his turn off suff back or...keeping it as it is.
