I cant play BF2 for some reason i dl your mod then the game crashes while loading. :cry: Can anyone help me?

If you have the conversion pack (1.80/1.81) keep trying, that's normal.

I'd recommend that you either fix the bug that disallows a minimap, or that you create one. I don't see any.

ok, i dled the 1st beta & walked around
AWSOME! i just had an idea 4 u:
~make the cantena from ep4 & make the music change 2 the "cantena" music
~also, if u could get an animation 4 the alian musicians, that would rock!
thats my 2 cents, 4 all its worth :wink:

Hey Rends, two things.

1-Could you add more CPs in Hero Assualt?

2-How about having Majin's sides for one mode, and the reg sides for another? I personally like his sides, but I really don't think that they fit here. At all...and they don't seem very 'Rendsy' to me. :?

havn´t used a skin from your texture pack yet. Stormtrooper one is from Penguine. I´m not sure if Majins mod used something from it.
Need to ask him.

Epena,
i had a some discussions with Majin about the Mos Eisley Reb/Imp sides about what should be used and what not.
Even if i havn´t them working yet i´m sure that he made them Mos Eislish/movie accurate enough to fit well on the map.

And sure i can add some more CPs to hero assault.

Wow, the Dewback and Bantha were awesome models. Any chance you will turn them into hover or walker vehicles?

It's not the movie accuracy I don't particularly like, it's the damage of each blaster shot.

The overabundance of total realism does take away from game play. I didn't notice it being bad in this map though. I thought it was balanced well. But I do agree with Epena, too much realism in the weapon damage would be bad.

Hi guys,
no update yet because i couldn´t do anything usefull in the past weeks.
Our dog died 10 days ago after beeing part of our family for 14 and a half year :cry:
If you ever had a dog you know what this mean to me and my family.
Anyway i Hope to get back on this map soon.

On realism: I don't think you should use realism unless you get Majin Revan to do the sides. :wink:
The sides would be more accurate this time because they released a better T-21.

I have never had a really close pet that has died, but I have a cat that I am close to right now, and I do understand how close someone can be to a pet. So I sympasize with you, man. :wink:

Great job! Not nearly as good as your Coruscant maps, but still nice.

Some ideas:

1 - Please Put vehicles in the docking bays.

2 - Please Make the Millenium Falcon flyable

3 - Please move the Millenium Falcon to a different docking bay

4 - Please make the Dewbacks and Banthas heads move around a little

5 - Please Make it a little bit easiar to move around. Make more landmarks.

6 - This might not be possible, but make a special side that doesn't leave the cantina, so it seems crowded and like a cantina. Plus maybe a bartender.

That's all the major stuff, keep up the good work.

That actually sounds like a very good idea!
I'd also like to keep a kind of "cantina-y" vibe.

Well I've been thinking about idea number 6 as well (partially becouse Rends pointed out to me, half a year ago, that it would be difficult to keep a map crowded when you have a big environment) but this takes quite some scripting, as far as I know. But i'd say one way to do it would be to make objectives for these sides that are just about defending two cp's so they stay around the same area.
