star trek would pwn star wars so dont even pull that, if you did any research into startrek you would realise their weapons, sheild and hull structures are far better than the star wars ships, lets see a simple blaster against an Ultranium Burst, or maybe one of the starwars Ion cannons against a Corbomite Sheilding Matrix, or perhaps you would rather the traditional old Proton array burst as show in Star Trek VII : Generations, so before you say you do research note that you are screwing with a super geek who sits at home all day infront of his computer searchin for stuff like this!, the only thing star wars had better than star trek was the Lightsabers...

In are own universe we're not even allowed to surpass the speed of light.

So really:

correction; it is possible however impossible to acheive the speed of light, The theory is correct and a simple inversion of a spacial plain would create a kind of "warp feild" the impossible part is how we do not have a sufficient fuel supply. thus comes in the Theory of Dilithium (the only substance capable of holding both Matter and Anti-Matter) thus fuel the ship through a burst of antimatteral charges... however no such substance exists today such is why it is named a "theory"

I really don't care a lot abot this discussion, just because I don't know Star Trek (I know what it is, but I've never seen it), but the ships look nice, will you use ST characters as well?

Personally I think Star Wars is more realistic than Star Trek. From what I've heard you all blathering on about Star Treks weapons sound too overpowered therefore non-realistic. Come on their lasers look like remote controls. Don't get me wrong Star Wars is by no means realistic, but compared to Star Trek its a normal walk in the park. And stop fighting about who would PWN who. Its stupid to argue about such things its for the player to decide who wins and who loses.Thats my 2 cents and I'm sticking with it.


Although Darth Vader alone would pwn the entire crew of the enterprise

i know it was compared to the "D" version big deal. In star trek it would take an entire payload of torps do you the same amount of damage that one seismic charge could do!! Even Jango's small little Slave 1 could probably take out the enterprise.

Look! face the facts kid! Star Wars technology is a millennia ahead of anything Star Trek can dish out. I read somewhere that it took the enterprise like 7 years cross one part of the galaxy, that in star wars was crossed in mere hours! Grow up and stop being a stubborn Brat!! Yeah, I read on some persons blog that the power ammounhts some guy wrote down for sw were bigger than that of the power ammounts someone wrote down for st.

But think about it, S T is set in the age of Exploration comparable to that of sailships on earth, whereas Star Wars is set in an anciently technological Galactic Community where every planet is under a week away.

Stormtrooper Armour and the Rebels clothers really do something. . .I mean working on laser weapons for over 4000 years, they must be really powerfull whereas the world is very strong.

So.. have we got an update on the map out of this?

Okay we will just agree that
1.) Star Trek and Star Wars ships had advantages and Disadvantages over each other.

2.) Star Trek may have had better Space Combat weapons and sheilds however for Space Stations and Melee weapons Star Wars Had it better

3.) Star Wars had a better storyline and plot developement however Star Trek went further into technology tree's and depth for their subsystems

4.) assuming a hyperdrive could have an inf interval of speed and wapr 10 on a starship condiut system BOTH ships would travel at the same speed at max assumin that you are everywhere in the universe at once.

5.) Some Star Wars ships (SD) may have been bigger than Star Trek ships but some Star Trek ships where bigger than Star Wars. (A borg Tactical Cube is bigger than the 2nd Death Star btw, but the borg are meant to be uberly powerful!)

6.) This map keeps crashing on me!!!!

Yes, and that is why Star Wars would win, how could an army that uses phasers that could probably be reflected by a hand mirror beat Star Wars?!
Not to mention that fact that the only Star Trek character that is even 1% as powerful as Darth Vader is Spock! So basically, a bunch of losers that mix the names of the Empire and Trade Fedaration... and Spock inside of a ship smaller than an Acclamator go up against Lord Vader and the 501st in a massive Imperial Star Destroyer?! Star Wars beats Star Trek. Period.
