BF2142 Deluxe Edition prob

So, for Christmas, I got the Deluxe Edition of BF2142, which is pretty much the original game and the expansion set combined. Problem is, I can't figure out how to activate the Northern Strike expansion. The steps for activation for the DVD version (the one I have) say to visit the activation website and enter my EA e-mail account into the boxes and click sign in. However, when I do that, I always get a "System error. Please try again." Am I doing something wrong? Is the game just messed up?
Edit:Also forgot to mention, on a somewhat related note, only four maps (Verdun, Belgrade, Suez Canal, and Berlin) appear in the Instant Action menu. Is that normal for single-player?
