Thanks Caleb117. Yeah, Leviathan straight fell off the planet.

Jaspo, I didn't make a single model for SWBF or SWBF II. Someone else made the model and the wheels (which are separate) and I put them in as props into my map. Making it into a vehicle kept hitting some snags - I really cannot remember what they were, however.

Sorry about this off-topic post but I've been very curious ever since looking at the list of members, what happened to Leviathan? 3277 posts in two years, and then he vanishes. And his last login date is 3 days after his last post in 2006. Does anybody even know what happened to him?

The same thing that happens to everyone else who loses interest. No more posts re: Leviathan, though, there are plenty I'm sure you could search through and look at.

Nice to see you again, if even briefly, Majin. Everybody comes back.

Except for Leviathan that is.
I've got FOOLIS on msn, he is regulary on. I can ask him if someone wants.

Good to have such an experienced modder back, I'm still falling over your Custom Sound tut :P

Wow, the one time I actually look at a SWBF II forum on here and there's a blast from the past. Sweet!

It's good hearing from you, Majin. Nice to know some people around here have a life. :P

Haha, thanks again guys. Not really "back" though - no modding is going on at my end any time soon.

Maveritchell, Caleb117, and RevanSithLord are the only "classic," "big-time" members posting in here, to my memory. Everyone else bailed too, eh?

Teancum is still around and plenty active, and maybe a few others (depends on you consider "classic" and "big-time," I guess). Penguin dropped by and made a few posts recently, but otherwise she's gone.

There are definitely a lot more new people though.

Yes. GT is quite more popular now-a-days. ;) But how can it not be popular!? It's been popular for awhile, how can it get more popular you ask? Well, I have no idea. GT's awesome and we'll leave it at that.

And hopefully, the potential GT Promotional video I'm wanting to make, will draw even more people in. :)

Of course dude, you were around in the "old days," got deep enough into modding, and beta tested like all of my SWBF II maps. Your name is known on here fairly well, at least by the "original" folk.

And yeah, I saw Teancum and Guru making posts, and Penguin made a post recently in the staff forum, I believe. Is EraOfDesann around anymore?

How cool would a revival of GameToast be, in terms of the old-timers? And maybe in starting up a stronger GameToast gaming/modding community for newer, non-SW games (since there don't tend to be any new SW PC games...that are worth doing anything with), such as BFBC2 or Crysis (Crysis 2 would be a probably better choice). Lord Bandu and I were about to make a SW mod for Crysis, and upon him creating like two models, he bailed on the idea - maybe a mod could form again, for Crysis 2. I think the engine would be great for it - although a SW mod would be MUCH, MUCH better for BFBC2. Sadly there are no mod tools yet (or maybe ever...).

Or maybe just for gaming - start a GT clan for BFBC2 or something. GameToast is one of two Internet-based clans I'd be willing to ever join (aside from like random gaming groups of my real-life friends or something) for games. The other would be Guru3D, which is where I spend most of my forum-time now.

Sadly as far as GT clan activity goes it has been pretty dead and I missed out on like...any gaming sessions that went on....but I feel there should be some kind of revival of such. Teamwork and coordination as well as politeness is key to being successful...but moreover, having fun. However, I feel this should go in the GT Clan sub-forum if one should talk about such things. *shrugs* I'll also post all the games I got that I'd like to play with GT members sometime (whether for friendly matches against...or along side one another is up to all of us). Hopefully we all here can start up some special events for GT. Or schedule stuff that is convenient to everyone's schedules (which is extremely hard, so we'd have to shift around timezones and stuff.)

I, as a loyal member after all these years, will not sit around and watch GT become inactive...no.....we will stand-up. And fight...

.....wait, this sounds like a revolution speech. But point being, GT Clan stuff should become active again, in my humble opinion. If anyone should agree, let me know.

And M.R., thanks. I'm happy to to hear that. It means a lot to me. And yeah, I have been around that long, that much is true. To be honest? I'd do it all over again. Hopefully with better results, though, since I know what I was doing wrong with all that FTP crap all that long ago and then lost my job at SWBF2 files. Lol.

GT's definitely a long way off from becoming inactive, so you don't really have anything to worry about there. If we were to pick up some new games, that'd be pretty awesome. Maybe I could finally start modding something GT does! I've only been here like 5 years, I should probably start contributing soon. :P

Yeah, you better! Or we're gonna throw you out.

Heh, it's nice to be remembered as a 'Classic'. I miss the modding. If I could just think of something to model, I'd do some of that. But alas--

We still have a handful of the other classics, Xavious/Darth_Maul for instance. There's also Repsharpshooter, although you may not have been here to know him for his works.

Era's still around and posts quite frequently in the media forum, and is also a staff member at SWBFFiles.

No problem, RevanSithLord. Caleb117, yeah I definitely remember you being active back in the day, and I do remember seeing Repsharpshooter's name show up often. Xavious/Darth_Maul is drawing a blank, however.

Good to hear Era's still around. I remember when I took up a modding "padawan." That was Era, LOL.
