Hey I was wondering. do you think we could have a spore forum to share creations, discuss the game, and give help and tips concerning ea's latest and greatest franchise.

If there's enough interest for a spore forum then there could be one.

what about a poll or something in a more-seen forum. (sorry, dont take this offensively)

It has to be actually used or it'll become a waste of space. People may vote yes in the poll but when the forum is made they tend not to end up using it.
The Steam Games forum was made because many people were already posting topics and posts from steam games, when it was suggested it was easy to see that the forums would be used.

so my questions is is the game any good? I play everquest 2 about 12 hours a day and daily I hear things about how great spore is , then i hear horrible things about it. I guess its realyl easy, kinda chikldish and toony and short lived. Also are there mods out for this game, a star wars spore mod ,lolz.

Nobody's even made a topic for it (unless I just haven't seen it) and you guys are asking for a forum?

EA has certainly shot themselves in the foot with the new DRM they're using. Three installs and that's it.
Apparently Amazon customers don't like it either:
Not best selling, but most pirated will be the title associated with this game.
Spore: Most Pirated Game Ever Thanks to DRM
Over 500,000 pirated downloads(I'm not one of them.

)
By all accounts I've heard that it's an awesome game. People just don't like DRM. I'll probably buy it eventually.

Its well known that the Amazon rating was sabotaged.

Really?

Didn't know that.
You mean sabotaged, as in, given a low rating just because of the DRM?

Yea, I don't like the idea that you can only install it 3 or so times. That's just asking for piracy.
Piracy is kinda like... A Chinese finger trap, if you tug and fight it just gets worse, leave well enough alone, and the discomfort is hardly noticeable. If you make some blasted obnoxious anti-pirate device, it'll just encourage pirating. Pirating will happen, but if you just accept that it will occasionally happen without oppressive attempts to fight it, it'll happen alot less.
Not that it will likely stop me from buying the game.

IMO, this game is overrated. Although the game play was certainly a nice change from all the fps/rts genre, after about a week of play through, it's already getting repetitive.

I know hardcore gamers like you guy might not like this, but if you could find it in your heart to temporarily create a forum for a non-hardcore game and see how it is welcomed. Heck, you could even delete it later, guru. To me, I've been looking at this game for a few years, and I thought the community should know about it. I think we should have a community with more compatibility. I play both hardcore and non-hardcore, and I think they are both fun. I think we can be a stonger community the more people can be heard, and I think guru's done a great job. I rest my case......

Problem is no interest has been really sown beyond this topic, and the one for the editor demo. I assume it's quite some work to set up a sub-forum.

What ever... I mean, there are barely any posts in that forum. I already knew about it. Well go ahead, I'm done talking, lock it admin.
