Jango Fett, go to links to missing maps in the released maps section. You'll find offensive there.

Anyway, Stager, you're working on an Utapau map?!?!? What's in it? are there screenshots of it? Is it gonna have starships? Sry for all the questions. Ummm. So what's in it?

Before Real life sidetracked me...I was about 80% done with an Utapau map...theres a WIP thread somewhere with screens I think. Yeah...ships were in it and a battle down a spiral landmass to the bottom of the crater.

Typical Uber-XL action with alot of cool eyecandy, like custom animations of Gunship fleets decending and straffing.

Like Geonosis, I was able to cheat the engine's unit limits by assigning extra "sides"(5 of em) and giving them a faction with their own setunitcount numbers to bypass the 300 unit "uber-ceiling". Makes for some intense fighting(although multiplayer is probably out for that one).

I havent even looked in that folder for about 6 months...but I dont remember being too far from completion on Utapau. I was extensive testing to avoid a BETA phase. Im planning to dig it out and see whatsleft to do this weekend, after I play some of these other Utapau mods to see if my work would be redundant first. I've been away awhile.

Hi! I'm Thire, you more than likely don't know me, and by the time I got here (2 days after Fusion, I didn't even realise that lol) you were gone, but I had definatly downloaded this map, but my game had a period where we had to uninstall it and whatnot. Anyway! Welcome back to you! I hope we can get to know each other and become friends! :)

No offense to any of you, but shouldn't you discuss this in the corresponding Utapau thread ?
I'm sure Staiger will read it more frequently than this one.

@Topic:
When I look at GXL today, I don't see a incredibly advanced map, or even a incredibly good map. But at the time it was released, it was a true revolution. Strange, isn't it ? How fast the level of modding progress rises...

Protector_Pulch, the thread was "LOCKED" because people kept asking Stager00 to update, as well as bumping it frequently. So as you know the threads are now "LOCKED" when this happens, otherwise that is exactly where this talk would be happening. Stager00 did say that he was going to reopen the thread. Later

Offtopic: Foo4, remember you are considered junior to us lol. we knew this, but we didnt know if it were back open.

Ontopic: This map was one of the first things I looked at as an example of how to do my maps. Nice map, Stager. And welcome back.

This is the released maps section. That's why i'm asking for it. The latest version in this topic won't load because the hosting site has gotten rid of it.

I don't see what being a "junior member" should have anything to do with giving someone (a Lieutenant General)information about a thread that was closed because of bumping. And if you are all so much smarter than me because you have been here longer than why didn't you do a search on the thread and find out yourself that it is STILL closed! Shouldn't a higher-up know about searching first?! Later

P.S. I believe the thread is going to be reopened

Off-topic: What can you say, the man's right. Not searching for things is a big pet peeve of mine, and, I'm sure, many other forum-ites.

And if "higher ups" are so better, why aren't you all admins? :P

Stager, I'll re-open your utapau thread when you say the word. Try to keep the chat low guys, or I might have to do something I don't want to

Commander Fusion:

Thanks. Much appreciated.
I have Saturday set aside for poking around my files and getting up to speed on where I am (Utapau-wise), and go from there. If nothing goes wrong between here and there, Ill likely have you open it back up.

Today I want to play some of the newer maps and see if my Utapau is too dated to get by nowdays. As another poster pointed out...things have indeed changed.

Sorry to keep this dead thread active, it started out as a legitimate reply...lol.

This map rocks! I only wish i could be an acklay. I love this map though! It's such a large scale. I also remember killing a shizo and a Lord Bandu in that level. It was quite funny because they were both acklay xD
