here), it seems this is for Republic Commando. I could be wrong though.

yeah, these are tools made by skip (who made the mission scripter) for battlefront 2

Sorry, I only scanned through it since I can't read German well and I saw Republic Commando. These could be interesting; although do they come with tutorials on how to use them?
EDIT: *facepalm* Forget the tutorials part.

The odf creator is simple and hugely useful for me.........because I'm creating so many simple props making odf files is a serious grind...with that i can get most of the odf work done in seconds.
BTW - you need to have msh and odf files for it to work properly.
Now I'm off to make a few dozen rocks.....

Erm. If he said his cousin made the map " Felucia - Mission Bountyhunter", then is his cousin [Skirata]Darman...But it is completely insignificant...

Some of these tools seem to be useful. Does the side creator works for someone else??

It works fine, you must create a folder(named SCV21 for example) in the root folder of your project(data_ABC) and extract the Side Creator contents to this folder and run the utility from there.
The instructions are also explained in the readme.txt that came with it for anyone that cares to read it.
What this utility does:
- You specify what the side name is to be called(up to 3 letter/numbers)
- Then it creates the folder structure for a new side in data_ABC\Sides
- It will create these folders in your new <sidename> folder:
- effects
msh
munged
odf
req
It creates the lvl req named the same as your side
It creates a class req in the req folder
It creates a folder in data_ABC\_BUILD\Sides with the name of your new side
- It creates a munge.bat and clean.bat in that new folder
What this utility does NOT do:
- It doesn't copy the common folder to data_ABC\Sides
It doesn't edit your LUA to call the new side or setup the new unit etc
It doesn't place your animations, msh, odf or effects in the new folders
It doesn't list your unit/vehicle etc in the lvl req*
It doesn't name your class req*
It doesn't name or list your odf etc in the class req*
*You'll need to rename and or insert the names yourself
