New KOTOR + mod

I have been thinking about an interesting mod for awhile. I have seen a lot about deleting eras from mod maps, but what about adding them?

I was thinking about making a mod like the +123 mod but adds the KOTOR era to all the maps like Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War. It would have soldiers from that era, and heroes and locations. So this would be a major mod. How ever, I want to make it so that it adds a few mod maps from here at GT (with permission of course) as though they came shipped with the game, most notably, Coruscant City and Streets among others... That and in it a small mod for all the sides adding small things like more heroes to the game so that they could be used in modding for other people anytime. Such as making hex edits for new republic clone skins so that you could have a green and a red and any other color by simply switching the odf name in the lua. Plus adding new vehicles like the battle over coruscant ships that I have seen somewhere here.

Will some experienced modders help me? I need good skinners, hex editors, modelors, map makers and so on. Droideka88, i would like you to help for skinning at least. Please? Let me know what you think.

This won't be a WIP until I can get people working on it, and its not a request for something, so I didn't know where to put it. (I hope this is right, plz move it if it isn't.)

i could help with skinning because i had started on some KOTOR charcters recently. (sith assassin, sith soldier)

I've got Qdin working on a Sith Trooper right now, with two skins. (normal and red)

Cool, thx guys but before the project gets going, i would like to get a few more people working on it. Its going to be a big one.

Depends...

There are always the Mandalorian Wars Mod, which will later have maps from the KotOR Series :wink:

And as a matter of fact, there are also a White Sith Trooper :P lol

reminds me... I guess I should set the Specular on the Sith up high so it really shines? :wink:

Okay, I don't know how to add the era to the shipped maps though, which is where I really need the help, so does anyone know how to do that?

I'm also looking to make more units and weapons for the existing sides too remember.

I need skins for the regular troopers like the heavy trooper and snipers. I can't skin to save my life. That and I need to recruit a few mappers too. Finally, can someone tell me who to contact for that KOTOR hero assault source files if they are available?

The KotOR files are free to use from the lvl file. Source files will not be given out until after the relase of BF1 pack 2.0. (so it'll be a few months at least)

I can help with the skinning, like I said before.

What kind of maps are you talking about? KOTOR maps, right? (I'm working on a Dxun map if thats what you mean)
