Knights of the Force Expansion Pack is coming out today!!

I am a new messanger, sent by KOTF forums to tell you to watch their trailer on youtube. they need to get 500,000 views on their single trailer today or else the mod might not make it. it is a quest we have been told about before we download the mod, which is coming out later today as an expansion to Jedi Academy.

Isn't this the "mod" where the guy basically screws his forum members over by soliciting for donations?
And how is getting 500,000 views critical to the survival of the project? Smells fishy to me...

It does. This doesn't make sense. What gain is there from having 500.000 views for a trailer if the mod's already finished? Besides, 500.000 is a lot.

KOTF wants publicity, and more people to download their mod.......... I actually bought jedi academy for this mod, but i'm not sure if thier delaying it again

What I see here doesn't look all that terribly different from BaseJKA, and bears a strong resemblance to MovieBattles.

Well, the guy who created the mod says it will be uploaded on the 2nd week of June, which is last week......and is it another of of those chain-mails again? Because KotF already have alot of publicity, its been featured in many magazines.

No offense to anyone who believes in KotF, but I think it is a scam.. Ive been following this mod for ages, and there has been so many scam release dates. I dont know what to believe. If it does come out, thats great..but until then, I am curious of the existence of this mod.
By the way: You cant mod SinglePlayer because the scripts for SP were never released.

It was already achieved. Tomorrow, the 25th he is linking everybody the first part of the mod. Then July 7th, the second part.
Edit- And don't take what people are saying what's 'illegal'. I agree though on the donations thing. That shouldn't have really gone that way. But in other words, the mod is awesome without all the flaming about it going on.
And also the 'permissions' I believe Psychofred made his announcements clear about that. The JA community however doesn't see it that way. I even told them an official said that, but no, they crapped me out. But, let's not bring all that stuff here, ok? Let's just see what happens.
Also, it's hard for Tim to interprets a lot of things, so that's why some of the release dates have been missed, fyi. I'm not saying the "He's foriegn, he can't help it" excuse, but rather saying how he misinterprets a lot of stuff.

I believe the mod still exist, because I was only following it since February this year. Its 25 of June 4pm now in my country. I'm worried about the filesize being so huge, (1GB release today or tomorrow) I'll probably have to leave my computer on for 3 days minimum....

Well, thats my estimation since the internet is very slow these day, but if its normally fast like 2 months ago, maybe about 17-20hrs of download time. 200++ MB took 58mins on 67-51kbph.
