Are you using an image to start the game?

I don't think so. What do you mean by image. I eather click BF2 in start, or BF2 safe mode in start.

What he means is a burned copy, or an 'image' of the disc actually stored on the hard drive.

This is the origanal disk (DVD) and it is stored on the hard drive. There is an icon on the C: if thats what you mean.

What he was saying is the game is looking for the actual DVD in the DVD drive, it can't validate from a copy of the DVD that is on your hard drive.

Try cleaning the disc. Then try other things, like DVD movies to make sure it's not your DVD drive dying. If you live in a major city in the United States then GameCrazy will resurface your disc for dirt cheap.

Ok, I've heard aot of ways to clean a disk, but do you have any way I should do it? Also this problem doesn't happen on my other computer. My other computer has 1 DVD drive and 1 CD drive though too. The computer that I usually run BF2 on just has one drive. Do you think that has something to do with it?

It could, your DVD drive could be dying. You can clean it with warm water and a soft cloth, like an old shirt.

Still does the same thing after I clean. The thing that is wierd is that this is the only disk that does that. The rest load perfectly

So you are saying that the computer you are trying to run it on always gives the sercurom error?
If so contact securom at the indicated website, this is a common problem with certain DVD player manufacturers. You will be asked to run a program send them the text file that is generated and they will send you an update battlefontii.exe file that you would run on this particular computer instead of the original.

Such Messages from Securom normaly came,if you have enabled a Virtual (Clone) Drive.
If you have some enabled, disable them and try to play BF2 again.

It doesn't always do it. After about 5 tries it works. But, I will try to contact.

I don't think I've done anything like that.
