They look great but maybe they would be even better if you desaturate the colored parts and add a few more smaller scratches.

@Teancum: I've added more to the Deviss skin ( Goggles, pauldrons, and ammo packs on his chest and arm ) but I can't get the cloth to attach. I added the ClothODF line to the trooper.odf and changed the model to ep3trooper in the snipercape.odf. Munged. No cape attached. Am I missing anything?:?

@RevanSithLord: I'm no map maker :P . I'll leave that to the people who understand the ZeroEditor :lol: . Anyone who wants to use my skins in their maps is fine with me. :wink:

@DFYX: I guess some of the colours are a bit too flashy :P . I'll tweak them some more. As for adding more scratches...there are alot of little ones already ( hard to see from this distance ) and I didn't want to over do it.

@ C-26. Try using the sniper model. Don't worry, the texture is exactly the same, so it should look just fine. I think the cloth has to be attached to a hardpoint, and it's possible not all of the trooper models have that hardpoint. I'll look into it when I get time if you can't figure it out.

Well here are Deviss (goggles down ) and Bly (goggles up) on the Sniper model. They look cool.. but would work better on the actual trooper mesh. Hopefully the cloth can be attacted to it some way.

I'm on my way home, so I'll look at how they are attached when I get there.

you have to add to to the normal clone trooper skin, the cape from the sniper or the heavy troop.
than you have a cape by the normal trooper

@ C-26 -- I'm home, and I've looked at rep_inf_ep3snipercape.odf (the clothODF called by the sniper). Here it is, for reference:

[GameObjectClass]
ClassLabel = "cloth"

[Properties]
attachedmesh = "rep_inf_ep3sniper"

You'll notice it's simple, and that it calls the sniper model. Assuming you're using new sides for your skins, just edit this file to call whatever trooper model you want to use, then save as rep_inf_ep3commander_cape.odf. Next open up your commander's odf and add the following line just below [Properties]

ClothODF = "rep_inf_ep3commander_cape"

Let me know whether it works or not.

He skinned them right on to the model. What you don't see is when you turn the model on it's side the visor is not their its just a texture but still a very pretty texture. Although I do have to say you latest aren't up to par with the others. But you second batch was very good and creative. They also are very high quality with the camo being very nice, I like.

Also if anyone who wants to know how to skin PM me. (please do not post here )

@Teancum: Couldn't get your suggestion to work :(

I have 3 Legions ready to go ( Gree with camo clones, Cody and his 212nd, and the Shock Troopers)...just not sure where to upload them to :?

RDST is correct. I skinned the binos directly onto the model. The illusion only works when seen straight on...but it's better than nothing :P
