Where's a good source for Sound Effects?
Can anyone reccomend a good source for SW weapon and vehicle Sound Effects? (Right now I've got DC-17M ICWS and Sonic Grenade effects from Majin Revan's source files, Darth vader breathing, and a generic blaster effect)

You should try http://www.freesound.org/browse/ . Mav got some songs from it for his Rebel Ops maps...

The Star Wars Soundboards have a few SFX on them.

I didn't get any songs from it (it's not that kind of site). What it is is a good place to get stock sounds for mixing into ambient sound or SFX.[Padawan]Helkaan wrote:You should try http://www.freesound.org/browse/ . Mav got some songs from it for his Rebel Ops maps...

I've peeked at that, but i've never found out how to download the sounds.ggctuk wrote:The Star Wars Soundboards have a few SFX on them.
EDIT: Nevermind i figured it out.
EDIT 2: wait, no it wouldn't download. how do you do that?
slightly-related question:
Can BF2 sound lvls be used in BF1? or are they structured differently?

About the BF2 sounds into BF1, I don't know. But
I think AceMastermind found a solution; that was something like "browse the Internet temporary files folder to copy the sounds automatically downloaded". That may works.
