That's the best Republic Commando head I've seen yet (besides the original, of course).

By "original" I mean the model in the game Republic Commando.

hehe, I copied the scratch layers from an old luke stormy reskin, and copied them, editted them, and copied their style to other parts, on my 153rd legion clone troopers, i think the sniper will use the same skin as rifleman, but with some arc addons, the engineer will have a backpack.
and stock Jedi with a new face (supposed to be a young Kyle Katarn)

Now those are the most accurate and detailed 'scratches' I've seen here for A LONG time.. People are definetaly overdoing it, but that just looks plain awesome!

Really that good? Thanks
I forgot to mention, I used icemembers white skin (and ande's arf helmet skins, and neomarz's recon visor skin, hex edits by deviss)

Scratches :clone:
I made them from top-down style (as opposed to bottom-up), I mean I duplicated the background layer with the plain white skin twice, moved them both above the colored layer(s) (hid one and worked on the other) made the lower one darker, like a medium grey, and erased parts of those layers, with a paintbrush or galaxy brush style at around 40 percent opacity. (and then showed the top white layer and repeated ) and then completely erased the parts that didn't want scratched, like the visor glass, breather, and stuff, oh and also one click of the sharpen filter in PSE
so my layers from back to front would be like
base white (locked)
colorful! (perhaps more than one layer)
base white made gray, mostly erased
base white, mostly erased
Confused flaming Jawa commentators. That's a neat, clean, skin. Could be a light republic commando or something.
