I'm wondering if it might not be a good idea to give the magnagaurd a magnastaff and rockets rather than the Bulldog RLR and RD-4 Radiation Launcher, and to add more BFX components to the mod like NO award weapons at all, real twin blasters for the droideka and SBD, but not adding the BFX rate of fire for blaster rifles(i.e. 3 shots per mouse-click)? Just a thought.

Unfortunately, any gameplay changes would result in a online crash, which is what this is aiming Not to do.

I'm NOT aiming for an online crash. Lol. This will be compatible online, therefore, I cannot make any drastic changes, only aesthetic ones.
It seems only I know how to hex-edit in an envmap. I haven't got around to writing a tutorial.

- Fix hud tags
- Fix hud for all resolutions
- Looking into making a separate rep.lvl so I can replace the clone commander on geonosis with an arc commander, and do other details.
- Straigten out rest of rep side (clonecommander arms, 501st arms)
- Look into those voice over errors
- Any other issues that need to be fixed?
I'm really just pushing for this to be out the door. I want to move on to other things. These'll be the things I'll focus on during spring break/any free time.

RepSharpshooter, besides just replacing the Clone Commander on Geonosis and whatever the other details might be for the separate rep.lvl, could you possibly also give the Phase I Clone Troopers back their old blaster rifles? Phase I Clone Troopers with blaster carbines just doesn't look right. Thanks.
And also, will there be a new (primary) shotgun model for the Imperial Engineer?

No matter which way you slice it you're going to get a checksum error online. The only thing you can do is place the Ep2 commander in a new mode. We can't even re-munge a new LUA with a check to see if it's online, as that'll break checksum as well.

So basically, no units can be replaced. Darn! Well, we get enough of that in mods!
Although I wont play this (I have 1.0) I cant wait for this to be released! Its REALLY cool!

Don't know if its been brought up already, but can you look into removing those award effects and sounds? (The red and blue buff things.... can't remember exactly what they're called)

So I guess scratch that extra rep.lvl, the only other option would be to somehow intercept the game when it loads geo luas and swap rep.lvl's. But of course this is just an educated guess and offers no practical means of implementation.
so... that leaves:

I better address the hud first of all, I suppose I'll just make an actual msh for it, and have it extend well beyond the screen limits, with it's root at where the number's root is, that way, no matter the scaling, it'll always be centered on the information/numbers.

Well, sometimes it gets in the way when you're sniping. I'd care less if it was in or not.

Ooooh--that would be cool. Personally, I like the HUD a little more transparent, but I didn't have much of a problem with it when it was more solid, either. I'm just happy to have a new HUD.
This is really turning out to be great. I'd love to see it get to a point that everyone just accepts this patch as the next version of SWBF2.

For the Imperial pistol, you could use the DH-17, if they don't already use it anywhere. Some Imperials do have them in the films.
