Need someone who can actually model (Not like me) to convert some bf3 assets for me (Model is bunched together and need seperation < That is as far as I got) I have no idea how to use xsi and only got it yesterday... These models are untextured and have no UV mapping, I am getting the actual model textures at sometime however my source has requested that I have evidence the models are ready to be added into the swbf2 map.
The models are the BF3 Tatooine map models that will be used in my conversion of the map (Originally ES conversoins) which has no correlation with The Legends conversions, once the map is finished you will be credited infinitely for your assistance in development.

That seems like a strange stipulation, but since I already had the x2t textures for Tatooine pulled I just went ahead and converted and released them here for you.

How did you get the textures btw? I got the build,used QuickBMS to get the files etc etc but how do I convert the textures?

Convert the textures with Noesis, I use 2 different plugins, a python script to convert headerless textures and a compiled plugin to convert the others. You can find them in an x2t research thread on Xentax.

Thank you for the textures, although I do still need someone to uv map the bf3 models, for now I will just retexture the bf2 assets using the ones Acemastermind has converted.

smoke yes, but it's not visible all the time if you have many effects. And it will not affect the AI. Flash isn't possible someone told me once. Maybe you can do something like that with lua scripting

I shall have to rethink my Sniper's weapons then. Maybe just have no grenade for that class at all.

You can test the smoke grenade in my RC mod and there is a (i think it was Bespin) map that inspired me to make such a grenade.

Could I possibly get someone to apply this skin for me and share a screenshot or two? I want to see how it will look (especially the helmet), but I don't have access to BF2 right now and SWBFviewer is being stubborn.

EDIT: Never mind, figured out why SWBFviewer was being stubborn and fixed it. Helmet needs some adjustments, and I think I'm going to redo the body paint.

Has anyone converted the SWBF3 CIS arc cutter yet (or any arc cutter to be honest)? *If not can I make a request for someone to convert one for BF2 use?*

Rep arc is already in use. CIS will be converted next. Check our git repo (side branch) for it. Can we eventually use your projectile odf?? Not sure if we will use it, but maybe.

:D Sure, ill send you the odf file for it later today. Maybe when your done converting the cis arc cutter later on you can send me a pm for it?

Can someone give me a download link of Forcemaster veractyl (Boga) dinosaur creature that you can ride.Its from Episode 3 on Utapau where Obi Wan was riding in so he can catch General Grievous.If its released somewhere i would love to get it :)

I made such a mesh, but it crashed swbfviewer and I didn't know why. But I can give it an other try at the end of the week.
How would you like the mesh?? 1x1, 3x4, 16x9,...

If I couldn't get it working I can send you a plain mesh I got from darthduck once.
