RAIN : Stop n Start?

Is it possible to make it rain sparcely? So for like 5 mins itl rain then for 5 mins it stops etc . ???????

hm.... since I'm not aware of such mapping/modding stuffs, I'd say its posible
isnt the rain just some kind if "recording" that repeats over-and-over...?
well, cant you make it then "play" the short recording lets say.... (lets say the recording takes 2 seconds to be done) and then make it play 150 times (so it repeats in 5 minutes) and the make some kind of Delay on 5 minutes? THAT sounds possible

actually, the rain is a set variable effect that takes place withing a REGION. In Jabiim the Rain Region covers the entire map.
I do not believeit's possible, BUT I for one never take no for an answer so don't listen to me... anyone know for sure?

it's the t'other way round, you set a region where you don't want rain (a RainShadow region, surprisingly). Look at Kamino.
As for making it intermitent, there's nothing obvious in the rain controls, unless there are more parameters that aren't used on Kamino/Yavin (I only checked those 2)
