Off-topic : I am rather amazed to learn such a Speech coming from the mouth of a GameToast member having taken part in the development of a Star Wars Battlefront II level transferred towards this LucasArts® Product's Prequel, and that's why I would probably advise you to try out at least once Star Wars Battlefront II merely to make sure you have made the Right Choice while deciding to dedicate most of your spare-time and Resources towards the first Title belonging to the Star Wars Battlefront Series, which has unfortunately become somewhat uncommon around GameToast Forums nowadays...

Off-topic : Apparently, the setting up of the concerned Star Wars Battlefront Dedicated Server and the Scheduling of the implicated Tournament might be modified in order to fit the Expectations and Spare-Time Periods of the GameToast members watching the current thread and willing to take part in it, if I am not mistaking. If that's indeed the case, then may I suggest supplying the possible Dates and Time Sections you might become available and disposed to play this LucasArts® Product towards the Lead Administrator of this Online Event ?

Off-topic : I didn't expect so much coming from you, jedikiller', but my previous Suggestion was primarily intended towards GameToast members around this Location willing to take part in the Star Wars Battlefront Tournament dealt with this thread, so that the Overall Planning of this Event could meet the different Expectations and Availability Periods of these same persons, and as Karnage was apparently hindered by the Scheduling you have proposed so far, I advised him to insert the Date and Time which he could play the aimed LucasArts® Product at...

The first Mac vs PC "Platform War I" tournament has ended
Unfortunately we only had one PC player and 9 Mac players, so naturally Mac side won, although the PC player did quite well, not to mention extremely brave.
You can find out more here.
If interested, we will host another Mac vs PC tournament soon. Visit our forum for more details to come. Hopefully we'll have more PC players joining us next time.

Off-topic : Eventually, you have nevertheless endeavoured into considering GameToast Forums as being somewhat helpful, and I am rather amazed to remark you have not chosen to leave them for good because of the Objectives I may fulfill around this Location. On the other hand, to return to the Subject you have tackled previously, I would want to precise that the first web-address you have provided to us isn't actually dealing with a specified Star Wars Battlefront Tournament's Statistics, but rather with a Modification designed for this same LucasArts® Product...

The only reason I came back is to hope more PC players will join our next tournament. Gametoast.com isn't the only PC forum that I'm advertising on either.Leviathan wrote:Off-topic : Eventually, you have nevertheless endeavoured into considering GameToast Forums as being somewhat helpful, and I am rather amazed to remark you have not chosen to leave them for good because of the Objectives I may fulfill around this Location. But yes thanks for pointing out that the first link was incorrect, here is the correct link.
What can I say, there were so many Mac players who were eager to cross lightsabres with PC playersSWSOE1 wrote:Well, Im sorry to say that I was that one PC player. I joined the server and then 9 other mac players came along. The server was filled with mac players. And thanks walrus.
With that said though, I do wish we could somehow at least make sure we have enough PC players before Mac players start coming in

edit: after checking out that link(the right one) I would like to send my congratz to you SWSOE1 you pwned em, even though you didnt win the map...
As soon as they get the next one going ill hop in, I can't wait to actually play some Macs
Although I think we should change how things are done, meaning, We pick 3/6 (and factions)maps and they pick the other 3(factions) I will post on there forum as well, I look forward to participating

Platform War II - Wednesday 08.23.06 @ 7:30 PM CST (GMT-6)
So far we have 2 PC players that will be there for sure. We're hoping for at least 3 more so we can get a 5v5 going. Click on the link above for more information.
