Which hex editor to use?

Search is still busted, so can somebody please inform me where the best free hex editor is, if they even are free (I wouldn't know)

I know I'm a goober, you guys don't need to remind me. :P

PSPad is recommended by the guy who created a hex-editing guide.

I use A thing called EasyHex works fine. Can't remember the D/L though. :(

I use frhed (freehexeditor)
Its very simple to use.

Yeah, I'm a fan of frhed too. Right now I use 010 Editor, but you have to pay for it after 30 days. Still, 010 is bar-none the BEST hex editor out there.

I like to use the Hex Editor plugin for Notepad++ because it reduces the number of programs that I have to use (I use Notepad++ for coding, too.)

The best Hex editor that I have ever used, though, is called UltraEdit (and it has an excellent coding component, too.) It expires after 45 days, though, unless you buy it.

I prefer PSpad. I do ALOT of hex-editing, and it does what it is supposed too.

Now i just figure out how tochange my avatar...

PSPad looks decent, I'd say use that :P
