WIP: Sam's imperial side mod

hey, I'm making a pretty big mod (big for me because i just started modding)
it will change the everything in the imperial side (skins, weapons... all that fun stuff)
it changes the side to the imperial nova trooper, and is pretty much like what it should be.
this mod will be centered around team work, with the rocketeer being slow nad having alot of health punches holes in enemy defence so the quicker troops with less health can get through
here is what i have done so far
i know a lot of it still needs work
nova trooper- 20 ammo clips/10 nades quickness-8 health-550
nova rocketeer- 10 rockets, 10 mines, 8 nades, blaster rifle with 5 mags quickness-6 health-800
tie interceptor royal guard-faster more manueverable and with much greater firepower
nova scout- 150 shots of sniper, 5 nades, blaster rifle with 5 mags quickness 10 or 12 (havent decided) health 300
nova engineer-10 mags of shotgun, 5 det packs, 5 powerup dispencers, blaster rifle, 8 mines, same speed and health
jedi nova dark trooper-50 rounds arc caster, 250 rounds blaster rifle, red lightsaber
nova cold weather trooper (i know i have to fix his colors)
nova pilot-now with 5 time bombs and blaster rifle
nova marine-same(he was good already)
even the troop transport couldnt escape being novaized- rockets nad blaster are better
tie bomber nova version- bombs pack more punch
and thats it for now...

Cool, Will there be any new heros or anything. The Units look good but the Red ship...Well..

if people want dont want it in the whole imp side, they can put it in a map folder so it will just be for that map

The Tie needs to be a different color. Red doesn't fit it well I think. But Others may not think that way.

i have one question to anyone, how do i put a skin on the star destroyer...
i already have the skin, and i tried putting it as imp_fly_destroyer.tga
but it diddnt work

That's not the correct targa. Open up spa1_bldg_stardestroyer_01.tga through spa1_bldg_stardestroyer_08.tga to edit the look of it.

The Tie Interceptor looks to be based off of the Royal Guard tie interceptor.
And I love Nova Troopers, those are the best.

This is looks absolutely H4XX0R! Its great, and not just because Its a first mod. I really like the skins, except the TIE Interceptor like other ppl already stated. Maybe have him use the same colorsheme as the other fighters?

And I would also like to see how your TIE "Nova style" Fighter looks like, since you didn't post any pictures of this one!

About making it a map or a sidemod, maybe do the sidemod first and then the map?

More mines,More nades,More firepower nice this Side mod is reall cool I love the Nova trooper skins and the red
Tie-Fighter,heres a suggestion maybe if your using AT-ATs and AT-STs make em the Dark nova color as the other
viechles are gives a nice feel to it other than just plain grey for the :atat: :atat:

thanks everyone for your support... i like having people like what i make.
anyway, at stealth asassin, i have already made the atat and atst... i was just tired last night so i diddnt post them.
alsothe tie fighter and tie interceptor are in the same skin so that one is red too. i will make the nova skins tonight
one last thing. if you are the dark trooper, dont use your lightsaber in flight or youll bounce uncontrollably until you switch weps

I don't know why people don't like the red interceptor, it looks good to me. Any way this is really good for a first mod. I wish my skins looked that good in my first map.

Neat skins, especially the engineer on the first posts, very shiny. And I like the Royal Interceptor.
(I might be interested in using your Soontir Fel skin from the other topic, tell me when it's complete. And if you can give him good, space-heroish weapons, I may be interested in the entire side.)

thanks general, i know that they were right about the TIE, it diddn't fit in.
anyway, big update.
got the imp officer good
jsut a hint as to the power of the atat
tie fighter
tie interceptor (ultra fast, and maneuverable)
snow trooper (finally got it right)
tie pilot(best one yet)
imp shuttle thing (made it better)
