Mass Effect 2

Well here it is, the sequel to the first Mass Effect.
It seems that BioWare have made improvements in every aspect of the original.
But the most important part of the game (as of every RPG game) is of-course the story, and the devs made a great job on it. You get caught by the story from the very beginning of the game and every sidequest has got its own little but interesting story.
I loved (and still love) the first Mass Effect but this one is definately better.
So whats your opinion on that game?

QFT. Every flaw from the first has been addressed, everything good has been improved, and this is by far the best example of world-building in video games. The only flaw I can see is that I'm not playing it on an HDTV, so the text is scrunched, but...dang this game is amazing.

I watched my friend play this, and it looks awesome. Never played ME1 though. I might just have to find a way to get it.

Used XBOX version is around $15-17, new PC version goes about $20. Well worth it.

The probelm is, I have neither a 360 nor a PC that can run it (I think...my MacBook Pro doesn't have that good of a Graphics chip...).

Does it run Direct X 9? If so, I think you're good. If not, then it's time to start improvising.

Still, I have no idea how good the GeForce 9400M chip compares to Desktop chipsets.

ME2 looks amazing. I'm playing through ME1 so I know what's going on and so I can transfer my save file.
Also anyone interested in ME2, play ME1 first, because I heard it's hard to go from ME2's amazing improvements to ME1's standard.

The combat is ME2 feels like it took a large leap towards Gears Of War 2, but it works really well. (Especially since I liked GoW 2

)
I'll keep it short: I love this game. Everything is amazing. Every mission is ridiculously well written. The graphics have gotten even better, especially the shading, which bugged me in the first game in some places. All in all, the entertainment value here is through the roof.

You mean you completed 5% of the storyline from all the ways you could go about the story. Are you going to go back through?

I'm unsure how ME3 will play out with the huge hole in the squad...

I might go and buy it tomorrow. How bad is it, like language wise? As long as there's no "F" word, i'm in the clear with my parents.

Eh, and there's the catch. The majority is pretty clean, but there are some f-bombs thrown in there. Most are tied to renegade dialogue trees, but some others are unavoidable.

Hmmmmmmm.... I guess I might be able to make this work..... My parents are totally fine with ME1, so they'll probably assume ME2 is fine also..... I hope
