ok, first i would like to say that from the pictures from the website at lucasarts, it doesnt look all that awsome, maybe the hand drawn pics but not the ingame ones. Now the player customiser thingy(i cant spell give me a break), some of the new ships, new planets, and models would be cool, but im just not going to use $200 to buy a psp for only 1 or 2 games.

I would also like to say that the idea to make a gametoast version would be awsome! Now i cant mod, but im 100% behind you guys and any help you need, if would be testing, or opinions, or ideas im here for you.

Yeah we could acquire the assets from SWBF-RD and remake our own version for BF2 like we did with the BF1 Conversion Pack. Then when we get the assets, we just remake BFRD for ourselves! :)

I would of course try to help :P

*ahem* statistically speaking, it "belongs" to the consoles. The PS2 and Xbox versions sold phenomenally. The PSP version did great too, all things considered.

Thank you to Rekubot, Hornet5509, and Trainmaster611 for agreeing with me.

who knows, maybe some modders will consider this.

I think that everything looks like crap because they just now started working on this and decided to releace some pics; however, they look crappy, I have to agree.

Who knows. If this turns out to be any good, I'm glad to have another PSP title to add to my collection (GTA liberty and vice city stories, battlefront 2 and metal of honor)

That's a shame, the moderators deleted my thread.

Not exactly. All the SWBF: RS threads have been merged together so it's still here... sorta.

sort of; somewhat

Wanna know my definition? :)
sort of, Informal. in a way; somewhat; rather: Their conversation was sort of tiresome.

Anyways, somehow I don't think LucasArts would do this to us. I'd say that sometime soon will be BF3. For PC. Or something like that.

Why are people acting like Lucasarts has bent them over and done something horrible to them? It's a game. If you have a PSP, great. If you don't, stop whining. Battlefront 3 will come eventually. This is a spin-off.

That's probably my favorite Treehouse Of Horror.

"Now if you wouldn't mind killing someone on your way out, I'd appreciate it" :P

Anyways, this doesn't look at all impressive. It'd probably be much better in my eyes if it were just a patch for the PSP version, but a whole new game for copies of stuff we made? I laugh at their reasoning...while holding that flamethrower...

*ahem* sort of like BF1->BF2?

Yay, a new Battlefront game, too bad it's only for PSP. Maybe this is a sign that a console Battlefront (SWBF3) will be coming soon. Video game companies sometimes release portable spin-off games around the same time as they release bigger console games. Maybe they'll announce a console SWBF3 in a few weeks.

As for the game itself, besides the fact that its only for PSP, it sounds pretty cool (woot! it's Rebel-oriented). I would normally not be satisfied with the "customizable soldier" thing, but since I'm sick of playing SWBF2, anything new will fulfill my hunger.

It's good to know that the Battlefront series is "alive" again, which may push it towards other Battlefront games... good ones .

if any of you haven't known i played the beta of the game at celebration IV. It was pretty good. needs some improvement....
They also have this auto dock button so after you leave the hanger of before you enter, instead of docking manually ( uhoh) it will dock for you in an open space...

Terrific LA. Not only do you leave Pandemic behind, who were the sole creators of even creating a Battlefront, but you only (so far) have All/Imp sides....meaning no new SIDES, no Clone Wars, no droidekas....

I think the character customization is good except how are you going to customize droidekas since they're different. Btw, this is more of a response to the future of the Battlefront series.

Ladies and gentleman. Star Wars Battlefront 2.5. Few upgrades, few new flaws.

If SWBF2 on the PSP could only support 4 players, how can this game do any better?
