The wait is finally over!

Finally after 2 months of planning, building and testing (and for those of you who only download, waiting! ), we've ended up with some really great maps for you to try out. It's no surprise that the anticipation has been so great, you can't help but get excited about these maps, especially if you've seen some of the tantalizing screenshots that are available in the WIP forum.

Before we finally get to the links it's worth remembering that as well as providing you with some great maps, the mappack competition has also kicked into life many brand new projects. It has also reignited interest in and spurred on the production of many WIP and beta status maps, so keep your eyes open and stay excited about these maps that are coming in the near future. We know that a lot of these WIP and Beta guys put a lot of extra effort into trying to get their maps completed in time but only just missed out. Thanks for your efforts guys, we really look forward to seeing your work.

Vote now for your favourite however make sure you play all the maps thoroughly before you finally cast your vote.

Here (in no particular order) are the maps and links. Have fun playing them and give big thanks to all those who've entered! :D

Am I allowed to submit a newer version of my map?

a newer version at this stage would be classed as having missed the deadline and it would also be unfair on the others to allow it. Feel free to update once the comp is over, in fact everyone will be encouraged to work out all the minor bugs prior to their maps going into the pack.

That's what I thought. I was planning on releasing v1.0 of my map after the competition. (since my map has gotten a whopping two votes (one of which is mine :P))

Can I post a notice?

My Mount Corona ReadMe is a req file. In case you don't know how to open it, you open it with notepad. I made it a req file because I'm crazy like that.

LOL! I found that on a google image search for "oh noes!". I found it hilarious since the O RLY owl is there.

I also found one with a paper bag head, and one with a dog saying Oh Noes!

Problem: When I try to download Jawa Killer's map, I click the link and it redirects me to flirt-fever.de and restarts the download countdown. The file does not download. Any ideas?

An updated version of my map is already in the released forum. It's a Major update; much better than the one I submitted for the competition.
